Shorten the long landing
Ground effect becomes significant below about one wingspan of height. A Cessna 172, with a 36 ft span, enters ground effect at flare height - the float it feels in the hold-off is ground effect arriving on cue. An A320, with a span around 117 ft, has been in ground effect since before the threshold and there is no sudden cushion to feel, only a gradual reduction in induced drag that lengthens any float you allow.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,380 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 349 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
First of all, congratulations on achieving a high overall landing score of 89.5%! This is a fantastic accomplishment and demonstrates your skill and proficiency as a pilot.
Let's break down the different phases of the landing and see where improvements can be made:
Approach Phase: It seems like the descent path was below the glideslope limit. While this is something that can be improved upon, it's important to remember that maintaining the correct descent path is crucial for a smooth and safe landing. With some practice and focus on maintaining the correct altitude, you can easily improve this aspect of your approach phase.
Landing Phase: It's great to hear that you had a good landing flare, as this is essential for a smooth touchdown. However, it seems like the threshold height was below the target. This is something that can be worked on by ensuring you maintain the correct altitude and flare at the right moment during the landing.
Touchdown Phase: The touchdown rate being hard and the speed slightly above target are areas that can be improved upon. A softer touchdown and maintaining the correct speed can help improve the overall quality of the landing. Additionally, ensuring that the touchdown distance is inside the touchdown zone and closer to the centerline can further enhance your landing performance.
Overall, your landing score of 89.5% is already quite impressive, but there is always room for improvement. With some practice and focus on the areas mentioned above, I have no doubt that you will continue to improve and achieve even higher scores in the future. Keep up the excellent work and never stop striving for perfection in your landings!
