Improve the taxi
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,398 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 500 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the Vision Jet taxiing from the parking area to the runway at LSMP Payerne Air Base, a process that took 8 minutes and covered a distance of 2 nautical miles. The aircraft then departed from runway 23, with a takeoff distance of 572 meters, which was 25% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 92 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of -2°C, with a wind speed of 2 knots at 210 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 1 knot and a headwind of 2 knots. The aircraft then began its enroute climb, starting overhead the town of Bussy in the Canton de Fribourg, Switzerland. The climb took 7 minutes and covered a distance of 17 nautical miles, during which the aircraft ascended from an altitude of 2,480 feet above sea level to 13,623 feet above sea level, an increase of 11,143 feet.
Following the enroute climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which started 1 mile south east of La Chenalotte in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comte region of France. This phase lasted for 20 minutes and covered a distance of 84 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent, starting 1 mile south of Grandfontaine in the Grand Est region of France. The descent took 11 minutes and covered a distance of 41 nautical miles, during which the aircraft descended from an altitude of 13,533 feet above sea level to 2,490 feet above sea level, a decrease of 11,043 feet.
The final approach to runway 03 at EDRZ Zweibrücken Airport was made from the south west, with a heading of 30.0 degrees at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,348 feet above ground level. The landing was made on runway 03, which had a length of 2,398 meters. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was well above the target speed at 84 knots. However, the touchdown speed was a little fast at 73 knots, and the touchdown point was 60 meters beyond the touchdown zone.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of -1°C, with a wind speed of 8 knots at 56 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 4 knots and a headwind of 8 knots. The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 5.1 meters from the centerline. The total landing distance was 635 meters, which was 26% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was very good.
The flight then ended with the aircraft taxiing to the parking area from the runway, a process that took 1 minute and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 149 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 49 minutes. The aircraft used 210 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Vision Jet successfully landed at EDRZ Zweibrücken Airport, achieving a score of 98.3%. The aircraft approached the runway from the southwest, heading 30.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,348 feet above ground level (agl). The pilot executed a smooth final approach, with a good threshold height and a threshold speed that was well above the target at 84 knots.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft landed 60 meters beyond the touchdown zone, which is slightly outside the designated area. The touchdown speed of 73 knots was a bit faster than desired, but the touchdown rate was smooth at -101 feet per minute (fpm). The runway touchdown position was also slightly misaligned by 5.1 meters from the centerline, which may have contributed to the slightly off-target touchdown point.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of -1°C and a wind speed of 8 knots from a direction of 56°. The crosswind component was 4 knots, while the headwind component was 8 knots. Despite these conditions, the pilot managed to maintain control of the aircraft and execute a safe landing.
The total landing distance of 635 meters was 26% of the runway length, which is a relatively short distance considering the aircraft's size and weight. The runway rollout alignment was very good, indicating that the pilot was able to maintain control of the aircraft during the rollout phase and bring it to a stop safely. Overall, the landing was successful, and the pilot's skills and experience were evident in the execution of the maneuver.
