Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,645 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 897 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Overall, it seems like there were some challenges during the approach, landing, and rollout phases of the aircraft landing. However, there were also some positive aspects such as excellent heading alignment and touchdown rate.
What went well: - Excellent heading alignment during the approach phase - Good touchdown rate and speed on target during the touchdown phase
What didn't go so well: - Poor descent path above glideslope limit during the approach phase - Very high threshold height and poor landing flare during the landing phase - Long distance and poor runway alignment during the touchdown phase - Poor runway alignment during the rollout phase
Recommendations for this aircraft landing: 1. Ensure proper descent path to stay within glideslope limits during the approach phase 2. Work on lowering threshold height and improving landing flare technique during the landing phase 3. Focus on improving runway alignment for both the touchdown and rollout phases 4. Keep speed on target and continue to work on enhancing overall landing technique. Practice and feedback on these aspects will help improve future landings.
