MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 5,470 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 1,809 ft past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight in the Honda HA420 started with a brief 1-minute taxi from the parking area to the runway at KTUL Tulsa Intl. The departure roll on runway 18R covered 80% of the runway, with a takeoff distance of 1,489 meters and a liftoff speed of 151 knots. The local weather at the time of departure was 15°C with a 1 knot wind coming from 269°, resulting in minimal crosswind and headwind.
Upon reaching cruising altitude, the enroute climb began 1 mile south of Tulsa Intl, climbing from 1,028 feet above sea level to 20,007 feet, covering 36 nautical miles in 9 minutes. The level cruise phase commenced 3 miles southwest of White Oak and lasted 64 minutes, covering 388 nautical miles.
The descent phase commenced 3 miles west of Hattan Farms Minonk, descending from 20,003 feet to 2,456 feet, covering 57 nautical miles in 12 minutes. The landing took place on runway 33 at Aurora Mun, with a threshold height of 32 feet above ground level. The speed at threshold was 127 knots, with a touchdown speed of 114 knots and a vertical speed indicator reading of -55 feet per minute. The aircraft touched down 553 meters from the threshold, using 60% of the runway for a total landing distance of 1,001 meters.
Taxiing back to the parking area from the runway took 4 minutes. The total flight distance covered was 488 nautical miles over a duration of 108 minutes, using 0 kilograms of fuel. The flight was completed safely and efficiently within the specified parameters of the aircraft.
Great job on achieving a landing score of 97.3%! Let's break down each phase of the landing to see where improvements can be made to reach an even higher score.
During the Approach Phase, you did an outstanding job with glideslope alignment and maintaining the correct airspeed. This shows that you have a good understanding of the approach procedures and were able to execute them effectively.
Moving on to the Landing Phase, you demonstrated a good threshold height and a very good landing flare. This indicates that you were able to judge the height above the runway accurately and execute a smooth touchdown. However, it is noted that the touchdown point was 125 m beyond the touchdown zone, which could potentially be improved upon in future landings.
In the Touchdown Phase, your touchdown rate was excellent and you maintained a speed above the target, which is commendable. However, the touchdown point being beyond the designated zone and the slight deviation of 1.8 m from the centreline suggest the need to focus on precision and accuracy during this phase.
Lastly, during the Rollout Phase, the runway alignment was 3.8 m from the centreline. While this is a relatively small deviation, it is important to strive for perfect alignment to ensure a smooth and safe rollout.
Overall, your performance during the aircraft landing was impressive, with several areas showing excellence. By focusing on the minor corrections highlighted in each phase, you can continue to improve your landing skills and strive for an even higher score in the future. Keep up the good work and continue to practice and refine your techniques to achieve mastery in all phases of the landing process.
