Improve the rollout
A crosswind landing is a geometry problem. The air mass you're flying in is moving sideways across the runway, and you need your ground track down the centreline with your wheels aligned to it at the moment of contact. There are two techniques that will help, the crab and the sideslip.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,013 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 393 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 5 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The aircraft, a Boeing 737-700, then departed from runway 10 at SBSV Deputado Luiz Eduardo Magalhães International Airport. The takeoff distance was 1,432 meters, which accounted for 48% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 153 knots, and the local weather conditions were characterized by a temperature of 30°C, with a wind speed of 10 knots at 59°.
As the aircraft climbed, it started enroute climb 1 mile east of Lauro de Freitas, in Bahia, Brazil. The climb took 18 minutes, during which the aircraft ascended from 1,015 feet above sea level to 38,504 feet above sea level, an increase of 37,489 feet. The enroute climb covered a distance of 114 nautical miles.
Following the enroute climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which started 8 miles east of Estancia, in Sergipe, Brazil. This phase lasted 14 minutes and covered a distance of 104 nautical miles.
As the aircraft approached its destination, it began its enroute descent 3 miles east of Campo Alegre, in Alagoas, Brazil. The descent took 26 minutes, during which the aircraft descended from 38,482 feet above sea level to 1,340 feet above sea level, a decrease of 37,142 feet. The enroute descent covered a distance of 132 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 18 at SBRF Recife/Guararapes - Gilberto Freyre International Airport was made from the north, with a heading of 162.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,290 feet above ground level.
The landing on runway 18 was successful, with a touchdown distance of 392 meters, which was good. The touchdown speed was 120 knots, and the touchdown rate was hard at -434 feet per minute. However, the runway touchdown position was misaligned by 11.9 meters from the centreline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 28°C, with a wind speed of 10 knots at 30°.
The total landing distance was 1,280 meters, which accounted for 42% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 10.8 meters from the centreline. The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took 5 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile.
The total flight distance was 357 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 69 minutes. The aircraft used 2,522 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Boeing 737-700 aircraft successfully landed at SBRF Recife/Guararapes - Gilberto Freyre International Airport, with a final approach score of 91.1%. The aircraft was approaching the runway from the north, heading 162.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,290 feet above ground level.
The landing was executed on runway 18, which has a length of 3,013 meters. The threshold height was reported as good, indicating that the aircraft was at the correct height as it approached the runway. However, the threshold speed was slightly below the target speed of 126 knots, which may have been due to the aircraft's descent rate or the pilot's decision to flare earlier than expected.
The touchdown distance was good, measuring 392 meters, and the touchdown speed was also within the acceptable range at 120 knots. However, the touchdown rate was reported as hard, with a rate of -434 feet per minute. This may have been due to the aircraft's high descent rate or the pilot's decision to touch down aggressively.
The runway touchdown position was misaligned by 11.9 meters from the centerline, which may have been due to the pilot's navigation or the aircraft's alignment during the approach. The local weather conditions at the time of the landing were characterized by a temperature of 28°C and a wind speed of 10 knots from a direction of 30°. The crosswind component was 7 knots, while the tailwind component was also 7 knots.
The total landing distance was 1,280 meters, which is 42% of the runway length. This is a relatively short landing distance, indicating that the aircraft was able to touch down and stop within a reasonable distance. However, the runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 10.8 meters from the centerline, which may have been due to the pilot's navigation or the aircraft's alignment during the rollout.
Overall, the landing was successful, but there were some minor issues with the aircraft's alignment and touchdown rate. The pilots' decision to touch down slightly below the target speed and the hard touchdown rate may have been due to the aircraft's high descent rate or the pilot's decision to flare earlier than expected.
