Maintain the centreline
A small uncorrected heading error at 40 knots becomes a metre of offset per second by 100 knots, noticed only at rotation, producing a crabbed liftoff. Root cause is nearly always eyes on the tape instead of the far end of the runway. Small heading changes displace a distant point visibly long before the nearby centreline stripes look wrong.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 6,397 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 684 ft touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight in the TBM 930 began with a 9-minute taxi from the parking area to the runway, covering a distance of 2 nm. The departure roll on runway 26 at KTWF Joslin Field - Magic Valley Rg was 2,095 ft, representing 24% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 93 kn under local weather conditions of 72 °F temperature, with an 8 kn wind at 19 ° resulting in a 7 kn crosswind and 2 kn tailwind.
The enroute climb started 1 mile west of KTWF Joslin Field - Magic Valley Rg Twin Falls (Idaho, United States), climbing from 5,150 ft asl to 22,652 ft asl, covering 27 nm in 9 minutes. The following level cruise phase began 5 miles northwest of Jackpot (Nevada, United States) and lasted 4 minutes, covering 21 nm.
The enroute descent began 19 miles southwest of Jackpot (Nevada, United States), descending from 22,165 ft asl to 10,753 ft asl, over 47 nm in 11 minutes. Another level cruise segment started 10 miles northeast of Osino (Nevada, United States) for 7 minutes, covering 28 nm.
The final descent started 5 miles northeast of Carlin (Nevada, United States), descending from 10,331 ft asl to 7,608 ft asl, over 3 nm in 4 minutes before landing on runway 06 at KEKO Elko Rgnl with a runway length of 6,397 ft. The touchdown speed was 83 kn, with a VSI of -340 ft/m, and touchdown occurring 684 ft from the threshold. Landing conditions showed a temperature of 67 °F, with no significant wind.
The total landing distance was 2,631 ft, representing 41% of the runway. It took 5 minutes to taxi from the runway to the parking area, covering less than 1 nm. The total flight distance was 140 nm, taking 57 minutes and consuming 308 lbs of fuel.
Overall, the aircraft landing score of 97.2% is a fantastic achievement and indicates that the pilot executed the landing with a high level of skill and precision.
During the Approach Phase, the glideslope alignment was excellent, suggesting that the descent was smooth and controlled. While the speed was slightly above target, this likely did not affect the overall quality of the landing significantly.
Moving on to the Landing Phase, it is commendable that the threshold height was good and the landing flare was very good. These are critical components of a successful landing and indicate that the pilot was able to accurately judge the altitude and execute a smooth touchdown.
In the Touchdown Phase, the touchdown rate being hard is a minor issue that could potentially be improved upon in future landings. However, the fact that the speed was above target and the touchdown distance was inside the touchdown zone are positive indicators of the pilot's skill and accuracy. Additionally, the runway touchdown position being only 8 ft from the centerline is impressive and shows a high level of precision.
Finally, in the Rollout Phase, while the runway alignment being 14 ft from the centerline is slightly off, it does not detract significantly from the overall quality of the landing.
Overall, this landing demonstrates a solid performance from the pilot, with several areas of strength such as glideslope alignment, threshold height, landing flare, and touchdown accuracy. There are a few areas for improvement, such as reducing the touchdown rate and ensuring closer alignment with the centerline during rollout. With continued practice and attention to detail, the pilot has the potential to further enhance their landing skills and achieve even higher scores in the future. Keep up the great work!
