Maintain the centreline
A small uncorrected heading error at 40 knots becomes a metre of offset per second by 100 knots, noticed only at rotation, producing a crabbed liftoff. Root cause is nearly always eyes on the tape instead of the far end of the runway. Small heading changes displace a distant point visibly long before the nearby centreline stripes look wrong.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with six checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway. They are the approach's score: the checks passed out of the checks that ran.
At the 500 ft gate: speed 18 kt FAST on the reference speed of 108 kt.

Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 7,395 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 1,537 ft touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Departing KRVL Mifflin County Airport, the aircraft began its taxi to the runway, covering 1 nm in 6 minutes. Upon reaching runway 06, the departure roll commenced, with the aircraft accelerating to liftoff speed of 152 kt at 2,666 ft, representing 54% of the runway's length. Local weather conditions at the time of departure featured a temperature of 62 °F, with a gentle wind of 2 kt at 270°, resulting in a negligible crosswind and tailwind component.
As the aircraft climbed to 10,004 ft asl, it traversed 16 nm in 4 minutes, achieving an impressive ascent of 8,193 ft from its initial altitude of 1,811 ft asl. The enroute level cruise phase commenced 3 miles northwest of Millheim, lasting 9 minutes and covering 44 nm. Subsequently, the aircraft began its enroute descent 5 miles south of Wellsboro, decreasing its altitude by 7,822 ft in 8 minutes, while covering 32 nm. The final approach to runway 06 at KELM Elmira Corning Regional Airport was initiated from the southwest, with the aircraft maintaining a heading of 50.0° at 4 nm and 1,222 ft agl.
The landing on runway 06 was executed with good threshold height, although the threshold speed was slightly below target at 109 kt. The touchdown distance of 1,532 ft was within acceptable limits, and the touchdown speed of 99 kt was also satisfactory. However, the touchdown rate of -202 fpm was fair. The runway touchdown alignment was very good, and the runway rollout alignment was also satisfactory. Following the landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area in 1 minute, covering less than 1 nm. The total flight distance of 99 nm was achieved in 28 minutes, with no fuel consumption reported.
The aircraft, C750, successfully completed a final approach to runway 06 at KELM Elmira Corning Regional Airport from the south west, aligning with the runway at a heading of 50.0° at a distance of 4 nm and an altitude of 1,222 ft above ground level. The approach quality was satisfactory, with a good threshold height achieved. However, the threshold speed was slightly below the target at 109 kt, indicating a slight deviation from the optimal landing conditions.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft demonstrated a good touchdown distance of 1,532 ft, and a touchdown speed of 99 kt, which was within the acceptable range. The touchdown rate of -202 fpm was fair, indicating a moderate deceleration upon contact with the runway. The runway touchdown alignment was very good, with the aircraft maintaining a precise centerline alignment. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 59°F and a wind of 2 kt at 270°, contributed to a relatively calm landing environment, with a crosswind of 1 kt and a tailwind of 2 kt.
The aircraft's rollout was characterized by a very good alignment with the runway centerline, demonstrating excellent control and precision during the deceleration phase. The total landing distance of 3,093 ft, which accounted for 43% of the runway length, was within acceptable limits. Overall, the landing performance of C750 was impressive, with a score of 99.4%, reflecting the high level of skill and precision displayed by the pilot during the approach and landing phases.
