Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,636 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,636 m of the 4,265 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 655 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 12 minutes and covered a distance of 4 nautical miles. The aircraft, a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, then departed from runway 09R at Charles de Gaulle International Airport (LFPG) in Paris, France. The takeoff distance was 2,376 meters, which was 66% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 183 knots.
As the aircraft climbed to its cruising altitude, it encountered local weather conditions of 8°C temperature and a wind speed of 4 knots at 59°. The crosswind was 2 knots, and the headwind was 4 knots. The enroute climb started overhead Mauregard, a town in the Ile-de-France region of France, and continued to an altitude of 29,663 feet above sea level (asl) in 11 minutes, covering a distance of 89 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered a level cruise phase, starting 1 mile south-west of Humbert, a town in the Hauts-de-France region of France. This phase lasted for 2 minutes and covered a distance of 33 nautical miles. The aircraft then began another climb phase, starting 9 miles south of Folkestone, a town in Kent, England. This climb took the aircraft from 30,167 feet asl to 36,244 feet asl in 4 minutes, covering a distance of 78 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise phase, starting 1 mile north of Reed, a town in Hertfordshire, England. This phase lasted for 46 minutes and covered a distance of 1,700 nautical miles. The aircraft then began another climb phase, starting 50 miles north of Kangerlussuaq, a town in Greenland. This climb took the aircraft from 35,961 feet asl to 37,989 feet asl in 2 minutes, covering a distance of 69 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise phase, starting 3 miles east of Attu, a town in Greenland. This phase lasted for 37 minutes and covered a distance of 1,456 nautical miles. The aircraft then began another climb phase, starting 22 miles south-west of Stony Rapids Airport, a small airport in Saskatchewan, Canada. This climb took the aircraft from 38,477 feet asl to 40,469 feet asl in 2 minutes, covering a distance of 68 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise phase, starting 40 miles north-east of Bolton Lake Airstrip, a small airstrip in Saskatchewan, Canada. This phase lasted for 11 minutes and covered a distance of 328 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its descent phase, starting 4 miles south of Tofield, a town in Alberta, Canada. The descent took the aircraft from 40,606 feet asl to 4,835 feet asl in 14 minutes, covering a distance of 134 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 17L at Calgary International Airport (CYYC) was made from the north, heading 180.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,270 feet above ground level (agl). The landing was made on runway 17L, which was 4,265 meters long. The threshold height was slightly above the target, but the threshold speed was good at 150 knots. The touchdown point was 239 meters beyond the touchdown zone, and the touchdown speed was 138 knots, which was good. The touchdown rate was fair at -220 feet per minute (fpm).
The total landing distance was 1,555 meters, which was 36% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 8.3 meters
The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner successfully landed at Calgary International Airport (CYYC) on runway 17L. The aircraft's final approach was from the north, heading 180.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,270 feet above ground level (agl). The landing was executed with a high degree of precision, with a threshold speed of 150 knots being achieved, which is considered good.
However, the threshold height at 56 feet agl was slightly above the target, indicating a minor deviation from the ideal approach path. The touchdown point was 239 meters beyond the touchdown zone, which is a relatively minor deviation. The touchdown speed of 138 knots was also good, indicating that the aircraft was well-controlled during the landing. The touchdown rate of -220 feet per minute (fpm) was fair, suggesting that the aircraft could have been brought down more smoothly.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 7.2 meters from the centerline, which may have been due to a minor deviation in the aircraft's approach path or a slight drift during the landing. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were cold, with a temperature of -24°C, and a light headwind of 2 knots. The crosswind was minimal, at 1 knot, which did not pose a significant challenge to the landing.
The total landing distance of 1,555 meters was 36% of the runway length, which is a relatively short distance considering the aircraft's size and weight. The runway rollout alignment was also slightly misaligned by 8.3 meters from the centerline, which may have been due to a minor deviation in the aircraft's rollout or a slight drift during the landing.
Overall, the landing was executed with a high degree of precision, and the aircraft's performance was good considering the challenging weather conditions. However, there were minor deviations in the approach path, touchdown point, and runway rollout alignment, which may be addressed in future training or operations to improve the aircraft's performance.
