Maintain the centreline
A small uncorrected heading error at 40 knots becomes a metre of offset per second by 100 knots, noticed only at rotation, producing a crabbed liftoff. Root cause is nearly always eyes on the tape instead of the far end of the runway. Small heading changes displace a distant point visibly long before the nearby centreline stripes look wrong.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 1,971 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 528 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a departure roll from runway 34 at SLCA Camiri Airport. The aircraft, a TBM 850, accelerated down the runway and lifted off at a speed of 94 knots. The takeoff distance was 422 meters, which accounted for 34% of the runway length. The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 16 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 1 knot from a direction of 269 degrees, resulting in a crosswind of 1 knot and a headwind of 0 knots.
As the aircraft climbed away from the airport, it began its enroute climb, which started overhead SLCA Camiri Airport. The aircraft ascended from an altitude of 3,068 feet above sea level to 4,638 feet above sea level, an increase of 1,570 feet in just 1 minute, covering a distance of 4 nautical miles. This rapid climb was followed by a level cruise, which began 4 miles northeast of SLCA Camiri Airport and lasted for 15 minutes, covering a distance of 100 nautical miles.
The enroute descent started 5 miles southeast of SLRS Rio Seco Airport, where the aircraft descended from an altitude of 4,983 feet above sea level to 3,552 feet above sea level, a decrease of 1,431 feet in 2 minutes, covering a distance of 16 nautical miles. Following this descent, the aircraft entered another level cruise, which began 7 miles northeast of SLGP Guirapembi Airport and lasted for 3 minutes, covering a distance of 7 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 34 at SLET El Trompillo Airport was made from the southeast, with the aircraft heading 324.0 degrees at an altitude of 1,234 feet above ground level and a distance of 4 nautical miles from the runway threshold. The landing was executed with a threshold speed that was slightly above the target speed of 72 knots. The touchdown point was 87 meters beyond the touchdown zone, and the touchdown speed was 60 knots, which was considered good. The touchdown rate was fair at -300 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown alignment was very good.
The total landing distance was 656 meters, which accounted for 33% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was perfect, and the aircraft taxied to the parking area from the runway in less than 1 minute, covering a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 132 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 27 minutes. The aircraft used 111 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The TBM 850 aircraft successfully landed at SLET El Trompillo Airport, achieving a score of 93.1%. The final approach was conducted from the southeast, heading 324.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,234 feet above ground level (agl). The aircraft landed on runway 34, which has a length of 1,971 meters.
The threshold height was reported as good, but the threshold speed was slightly above the target speed of 72 knots. Despite this, the touchdown point was 87 meters beyond the touchdown zone, which is a relatively minor deviation. The touchdown speed of 60 knots was considered good, indicating a smooth and controlled descent. However, the touchdown rate of -300 feet per minute (fpm) was only fair, suggesting that the aircraft could have been brought down more slowly and smoothly.
The runway touchdown alignment was very good, indicating that the aircraft was properly aligned with the runway and that the pilot had good control during the final stages of the approach. The local weather conditions were favorable, with a temperature of 15°C and a wind speed of 1 knot from 270°. The crosswind and headwind components were both 1 knot, which is relatively minimal.
The total landing distance of 656 meters was 33% of the runway length, which is a relatively short distance. This suggests that the aircraft was able to land smoothly and quickly, with minimal use of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was perfect, indicating that the pilot had good control during the rollout phase and was able to bring the aircraft to a stop safely and smoothly. Overall, the landing was considered successful, with a high score and minimal deviations from the target parameters.
