Improve the taxi
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,605 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,605 m of the 2,822 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 487 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 7 minutes and covered a distance of 2 nautical miles. The aircraft, a Boeing 777-300, then departed from runway 15L at Toronto Lester B. Pearson International Airport. The takeoff distance was 1,089 meters, which accounted for 32% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 172 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 5 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 8 knots at a direction of 100 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 5 knots and a headwind of 7 knots. The aircraft then began its enroute climb, starting 1 mile west of Eringate-Centennial-West Deane in Ontario, Canada. The climb took the aircraft from an altitude of 1,595 feet above sea level to 34,812 feet above sea level, an increase of 33,217 feet, in 15 minutes and covering a distance of 109 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise started 8 miles northeast of Belleville Aerodrome in Ontario, Canada, and lasted for 133 minutes, covering a distance of 1,178 nautical miles. The aircraft then began another enroute climb, this time from an altitude of 32,790 feet above sea level to 34,855 feet above sea level, an increase of 2,065 feet, in 3 minutes and covering a distance of 30 nautical miles. The climb took place at a specific location with latitude 51.1416572 and longitude -49.6096776.
The aircraft then entered another enroute level cruise, starting at latitude 51.4008256 and longitude -48.8789679, and lasted for 205 minutes, covering a distance of 1,821 nautical miles. The enroute descent started 5 miles north of Happisburgh in Norfolk, England, and took the aircraft from an altitude of 36,927 feet above sea level to 1,271 feet above sea level, a decrease of 35,656 feet, in 26 minutes and covering a distance of 124 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 36R at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol was made from the south, heading 3.0 degrees at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,270 feet above ground level. The landing took place on runway 36R, which had a length of 2,822 meters. The threshold height was good, but the threshold speed was well above the target at 154 knots. The touchdown point was 71 meters beyond the touchdown zone, and the touchdown speed was 145 knots, which was a little fast. The touchdown rate was fair at -296 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 5.5 meters from the centerline.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 7 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 11 knots at a direction of 340 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 4 knots and a headwind of 10 knots. The total landing distance was 1,525 meters, which accounted for 54% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was very good.
The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took 3 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 3,270 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 395 minutes. The aircraft used a total of 45,698 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Boeing 777-300 aircraft successfully landed at EHAM Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, achieving a score of 98.1%. The final approach to runway 36R was conducted from the south, with a heading of 3.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,270 feet above ground level.
Upon landing, the aircraft touched down 71 meters beyond the designated touchdown zone, which is slightly outside the expected area. The touchdown speed of 145 knots was a bit faster than the target speed, indicating that the pilot may have been able to make adjustments to reduce the speed during the approach. The touchdown rate of -296 feet per minute was considered fair, suggesting that the aircraft was able to absorb the impact of landing relatively smoothly.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned from the centerline by 5.5 meters, which may have been due to a slight deviation in the approach or during the landing roll. However, the runway rollout alignment was very good, indicating that the pilot was able to maintain control of the aircraft during the landing roll and bring it to a stop in a stable and aligned position.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 7°C and a wind speed of 11 knots from a direction of 340°. The crosswind component was relatively light at 4 knots, while the headwind component was 10 knots, which may have helped to reduce the landing distance. The total landing distance of 1,525 meters was 54% of the available runway length, which is a relatively short distance considering the aircraft's size and weight.
Overall, the landing was considered successful, with the pilot achieving a high score and demonstrating good control of the aircraft during the approach and landing roll. However, there were some minor deviations from the expected touchdown zone and touchdown speed, which may be areas for improvement in future landings.
