Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,595 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,595 m of the 2,998 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 508 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Departing from Harbin Taiping International Airport, the Boeing 737-800 began its journey by taxiing from the parking area to the runway, a process that took approximately 8 minutes and covered a distance of 2 nautical miles. As the aircraft lined up on runway 23, the local weather conditions were characterized by a temperature of 4°C, with a gentle wind of 2 knots from 119 degrees. The aircraft's takeoff distance was 1,417 meters, which accounted for 44% of the runway length. At a liftoff speed of 152 knots, the aircraft successfully departed the ground and began its initial climb.
The enroute climb phase started approximately 1 mile southwest of Harbin Taiping International Airport, where the aircraft ascended from an initial altitude of 1,478 feet above sea level to a cruising altitude of 33,511 feet, a vertical increase of 32,032 feet in 18 minutes. This climb phase covered a distance of 109 nautical miles. Following the initial climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which lasted for 101 minutes and covered a distance of 813 nautical miles. The cruise phase was punctuated by several descent phases, including a significant descent from 33,566 feet to 7,940 feet in 14 minutes, covering 89 nautical miles. The aircraft then entered a series of short level cruise phases, each lasting a few minutes, before beginning its final descent towards Tokyo Haneda International Airport.
The final approach to runway 34R at Tokyo Haneda International Airport was executed from the southeast, with the aircraft maintaining a heading of 330.0 degrees at an altitude of 1,266 feet above ground level. The landing was successful, with the aircraft touching down 89 meters beyond the touchdown zone at a speed of 126 knots. The touchdown rate was smooth at -124 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown alignment was perfect. The total landing distance was 1,511 meters, accounting for 50% of the runway length. Following the landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, a process that took approximately 2 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 1,078 nautical miles, with a total flight time of 163 minutes and a fuel consumption of 6,843 kilograms.
The Boeing 737-800 touched down on runway 34R at RJTT Tokyo Haneda International Airport with a score of 99.3%. The aircraft approached the runway from the south east, heading 330.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,266 feet above ground level. The final approach was characterized by good quality, with a smooth descent and a stable airspeed. The threshold height was well-managed, and the threshold speed was achieved at 137 knots, indicating a well-executed flare.
The touchdown point was 89 meters beyond the touchdown zone, but the touchdown speed of 126 knots was within acceptable limits. The touchdown rate of -124 feet per minute was smooth, indicating a well-controlled descent. The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, with the aircraft centered on the runway. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 11°C and a wind of 10 knots at 20°, contributed to a relatively straightforward landing. The crosswind component of 8 knots and the headwind component of 6 knots were well-managed by the pilot.
The total landing distance of 1,511 meters was 50% of the runway length, indicating a relatively short landing distance. The runway rollout alignment was perfect, with the aircraft remaining centered on the runway throughout the rollout phase. Overall, the landing was characterized by good approach quality, smooth touchdown characteristics, and excellent runway alignment, resulting in a high score of 99.3%.
