Maintain the centreline
A small uncorrected heading error at 40 knots becomes a metre of offset per second by 100 knots, noticed only at rotation, producing a crabbed liftoff. Root cause is nearly always eyes on the tape instead of the far end of the runway. Small heading changes displace a distant point visibly long before the nearby centreline stripes look wrong.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,576 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,576 m of the 2,598 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 371 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 17 minutes and covered a distance of 6 nautical miles. The aircraft, a Cessna CJ4 Citation, then departed from runway 07R at UHWW Vladivostok International Airport. The takeoff distance was 634 meters, which accounted for 18% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 119 knots, and the local weather conditions were characterized by a temperature of -10°C, with a wind speed of 5 knots at 330°.
As the aircraft climbed, it started its enroute climb 1 mile northeast of UHWW Vladivostok International Airport Artyom. The climb took 6 minutes, during which the aircraft ascended from 1,067 feet above sea level to 22,473 feet above sea level, an increase of 21,406 feet. The enroute climb covered a distance of 10 nautical miles.
Following the climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which started 9 miles northwest of UHWW Vladivostok International Airport Artyom. This phase lasted for 9 minutes and covered a distance of 58 nautical miles.
As the aircraft approached its destination, it began its enroute descent 10 miles west of Dongning, China. The descent took 15 minutes, during which the aircraft descended from 22,462 feet above sea level to 2,151 feet above sea level, a decrease of 20,310 feet. The enroute descent covered a distance of 63 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 22 at ZYMD Mudanjiang Hailang International Airport was made from the northeast, with a heading of 206.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,259 feet above ground level. The landing was successful, with a touchdown distance of 370 meters and a touchdown speed of 86 knots. The touchdown rate was smooth at -133 feet per minute.
However, the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned from the centreline by 14.5 meters. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of -18°C, with a wind speed of 1 knot at 254°. The crosswind and headwind were both 1 knot.
The total landing distance was 1,571 meters, which accounted for 60% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was also slightly misaligned from the centreline by 14.4 meters. The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took 2 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile.
In total, the flight covered a distance of 143 nautical miles and took 39 minutes to complete. The aircraft used 401 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Cessna CJ4 Citation successfully landed at ZYMD Mudanjiang Hailang International Airport, achieving a score of 91.9%. The aircraft approached the runway from the north east, heading 206.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,259 feet above ground level (agl). The pilot executed a smooth final approach, touching down on runway 22, which has a length of 2,598 meters.
The threshold height was satisfactory, and the threshold speed was slightly below the target at 97 knots. The touchdown distance was good, measuring 370 meters, and the touchdown speed was also within acceptable limits at 86 knots. The touchdown rate was smooth, with a descent rate of -133 feet per minute (fpm). However, the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned from the centreline by 14.5 meters.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were cold, with a temperature of -18°C, and a light wind of 1 knot from 254°. The crosswind and headwind components were negligible, each measuring 1 knot. The total landing distance was 1,571 meters, which is 60% of the runway length. During the rollout, the aircraft's alignment was slightly off-centre, deviating from the centreline by 14.4 meters.
Overall, the landing was successful, with the pilot demonstrating good control and precision. However, there is room for improvement in terms of maintaining a more accurate centreline alignment during both the touchdown and rollout phases.
