Improve the rollout
A crosswind landing is a geometry problem. The air mass you're flying in is moving sideways across the runway, and you need your ground track down the centreline with your wheels aligned to it at the moment of contact. There are two techniques that will help, the crab and the sideslip.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,216 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 256 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Aircraft departed from Aarhus Airport, EKAH, on runway 10L, where it accelerated to a liftoff speed of 151 kt after a takeoff distance of 975 m, which covered 35% of the available runway. The local weather conditions at the time of departure featured a temperature of 11 °C and a wind speed of 15 kt from 189°, resulting in a crosswind component of 15 kt and a headwind component of 0 kt.
As the aircraft climbed to its enroute cruise altitude, it traversed a distance of 73 nm in 13 minutes, increasing its altitude from 1,098 ft to 33,923 ft. The climb phase was followed by a brief level cruise, lasting 2 minutes and covering 11 nm, before the aircraft began its descent to a lower altitude. The descent phase was characterized by a decrease in altitude of 28,947 ft in 20 minutes, covering a distance of 110 nm. The aircraft then leveled off for a short period, lasting 2 minutes, before continuing its descent. The final descent phase was initiated 2 miles north east of Lutzhorn, Germany, and resulted in a touchdown on runway 15 at Hamburg Helmut Schmidt Airport, EDDH, with a touchdown distance of 256 m and a touchdown speed of 114 kt.
The landing was executed with a threshold speed of 119 kt and a firm touchdown rate of -398 fpm. The total landing distance was 1,216 m, which accounted for 38% of the available runway. However, the runway rollout alignment was misaligned by 19.5 m from the centreline. The aircraft then taxied to the parking area, covering a distance of less than 1 nm in 1 minute. The total flight distance was 220 nm, and the aircraft consumed 2,867 kg of fuel during the 56-minute flight.
The final approach to runway 15 at EDDH Hamburg Helmut Schmidt Airport from the north west was executed with precision, with the aircraft maintaining a heading of 153.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,372 feet above ground level. The approach quality was excellent, with a good threshold height and a threshold speed of 119 knots, well within the acceptable range. The aircraft touched down smoothly at a speed of 114 knots, with a firm touchdown rate of -398 feet per minute.
The touchdown characteristics were good, with a touchdown distance of 256 meters, well within the acceptable range. The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, indicating a high degree of skill and control on the part of the pilot. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 12°C and a wind of 21 knots at 230°, presented a moderate challenge, but the pilot successfully managed the crosswind of 20 knots and the headwind of 5 knots.
The total landing distance of 1,216 meters, which accounted for 38% of the runway length, was good, indicating a controlled and efficient rollout. However, the runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 19.5 meters from the centreline, which detracted from the overall score. Despite this minor issue, the overall performance of the pilot and the aircraft was excellent, earning a score of 90.4%.
