MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Slow down before tight turns
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 2,063 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 2,063 m of the 2,841 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 734 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
A Boeing 777F departed from Narita International Airport (RJAA) in Japan, taking off from runway 16R. The aircraft accelerated down the 2,229-meter runway, using 53% of its length, and lifted off at a speed of 191 knots. The local weather conditions were favorable, with a temperature of 21°C and a calm wind.
As the aircraft climbed out of Narita, it began a steady ascent, reaching an altitude of 28,802 feet in 18 minutes. The enroute climb phase was punctuated by several level cruise segments, with the aircraft maintaining a steady speed and altitude for extended periods. The longest level cruise segment lasted 252 minutes, covering 2,445 nautical miles. The aircraft made several more climbs, increasing its altitude by up to 1,912 feet in just 2 minutes. The final climb phase began 62 miles west of Depoe Bay, Oregon, and the aircraft continued on to Memphis International Airport (KMEM) in the United States.
The Boeing 777F began its descent into KMEM, reducing its altitude from 35,000 feet to 1,632 feet in 28 minutes. The final approach was made to runway 36L, with the aircraft touching down 333 meters beyond the touchdown zone. The touchdown speed was slightly above target at 143 knots, and the touchdown rate was good at -197 feet per minute. The aircraft taxied to the parking area, taking 6 minutes to cover 2 nautical miles. The total flight distance was 5,945 nautical miles, and the aircraft used 93,930 kilograms of fuel during the 686-minute flight.
The Boeing 777F touched down on runway 36L at KMEM Memphis International Airport, marking a satisfactory conclusion to the approach from the south. The aircraft's descent was well-managed, with a good threshold height achieved. However, the threshold speed was slightly above the target, registering 147 kt. Despite this, the touchdown speed of 143 kt was within acceptable limits, and the touchdown rate of -197 fpm was also good.
The touchdown point was located 333 m beyond the touchdown zone, indicating a slight over-run. The runway touchdown position was misaligned by 8.3 m from the centreline, which was a minor deviation. Local weather conditions, with a temperature of 27 °C and a light wind of 2 kt at 149 °, contributed to a relatively smooth landing. The crosswind component was minimal at 1 kt, while the tailwind component was 2 kt.
The total landing distance of 1,997 m was 70% of the runway length, indicating a reasonable use of the available runway. During the rollout phase, the aircraft's alignment was slightly off-centre, deviating by 7.9 m from the centreline. Overall, the landing performance was satisfactory, earning a score of 89.0%. While there were some minor deviations, the pilot's skills and the aircraft's capabilities were sufficient to ensure a safe and controlled landing.
