Improve the rollout
A crosswind landing is a geometry problem. The air mass you're flying in is moving sideways across the runway, and you need your ground track down the centreline with your wheels aligned to it at the moment of contact. There are two techniques that will help, the crab and the sideslip.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with seven checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway. They are the approach's score: the checks passed out of the checks that ran.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,448 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 637 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Departing from Aalborg Airport (EKYT), the Airbus A320 began its journey by taxiing from the parking area to the runway, a process that took 6 minutes and covered 2 nautical miles. As the aircraft lined up on runway 26R, it was met with a local weather condition of 16 °C and a wind of 15 kt at 240 °, resulting in a 6 kt crosswind and a 14 kt headwind. The takeoff distance of 1,467 meters, which was 50% of the runway length, was successfully achieved, with the aircraft lifting off at a speed of 152 kt.
As the aircraft climbed to its enroute altitude, it began its ascent from 1,044 ft above sea level to 33,455 ft, a vertical increase of 32,411 ft in 15 minutes, covering a distance of 94 nautical miles. The climb phase was followed by a 16-minute level cruise, during which the aircraft maintained a steady altitude of 33,455 ft, covering a distance of 122 nautical miles. The descent phase commenced 7 miles north of Norderney, Germany, and lasted 24 minutes, with the aircraft descending from 33,793 ft to 1,278 ft, a vertical decrease of 32,515 ft, covering a distance of 124 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 27 at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (EHAM) was conducted from the east, with the aircraft heading 267.0 ° at 4 nautical miles and 1,276 ft above ground level. The landing was executed with a threshold speed slightly above the target at 136 kt, and the touchdown point was 224 meters beyond the touchdown zone. The touchdown speed of 130 kt was a little fast, but the touchdown rate was smooth at -122 fpm. The aircraft landed on the runway, which was 3,453 meters long, and the total landing distance was 1,417 meters, 41% of the runway length. After landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, a process that took 3 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 348 nautical miles, and the aircraft used 2,683 kg of fuel during the 66-minute flight.
The final approach to runway 27 at EHAM Amsterdam Airport Schiphol from the east was executed with a heading of 267.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,276 feet above ground level. The approach quality was satisfactory, with a good threshold height. However, the threshold speed was slightly above the target at 136 knots, indicating a slight deviation from the optimal landing conditions.
The aircraft touched down 224 meters beyond the touchdown zone, with a touchdown speed of 130 knots, which was a little fast. The touchdown rate was smooth at -122 feet per minute, indicating a controlled descent. The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 3.8 meters from the centreline, which may have contributed to the slightly above-target threshold speed. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 18°C and wind at 20 knots from 240°, resulted in a crosswind of 9 knots and a headwind of 18 knots.
The total landing distance was 1,417 meters, which accounted for 41% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was also slightly misaligned by 11.2 meters from the centreline. Despite these minor deviations, the overall landing performance was satisfactory, with a score of 91.8%. The landing was executed within acceptable parameters, and the aircraft was brought to a stop without incident.
