Reduce your height at the threshold
Even a modest height error carries straight through to the touchdown. Geometry alone says that crossing the threshold 10 feet high on a 3° path moves your touchdown roughly 190 feet further down the runway before the flare adds anything.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with six checks at 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 11,537 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 2,096 ft past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The A21N taxied from the parking area to runway 34R at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in 26 minutes, covering a distance of 3 nm.
During the departure roll on runway 34R, the aircraft used 7,534 ft of runway (63 % of the available length) and lifted off at 163 kt; ambient temperature was 70 °F with a wind of 4 kt from 304°, including a 3 kt cross-wind and a 2 kt head-wind component.
The initial climb began overhead Boulevard Park, climbing from 1,245 ft asl to 4,062 ft asl-a gain of 2,817 ft-in 2 minutes while traversing 5 nm.

A cruise segment followed 11 nm north-west of A102 Summerville, lasting 21 minutes and covering 137 nm.
Descent continued 3 nm east of Hopland, descending from 36,995 ft asl to 9,986 ft asl (27,009 ft) in 21 minutes over 94 nm.
The aircraft then cruised 1 nm north-west of Belmont for 2 minutes, covering 5 nm.
A final descent started overhead North Fair Oaks, dropping from 9,992 ft asl to 1,788 ft asl (8,204 ft) in 7 minutes while covering 17 nm.
On final approach to runway 28R at San Francisco International Airport, the aircraft approached from the south-east on a heading of 292.0° at 2 nm and 1,766 ft agl.
Landing on runway 28R (length 11,537 ft) occurred with a threshold height of 136 ft agl and a threshold speed of 150 kt; touchdown was 593 ft beyond the touchdown zone at 141 kt, with a descent rate of minus 220 fpm and a lateral deviation of 26 ft from the centreline. Ambient temperature was 67 °F with a wind of 6 kt from 304°, including a 1 kt cross-wind and a 5 kt head-wind.
The rollout distance measured 4,253 ft (37 % of runway length),
Aircraft A21N established on final approach to runway 28R at KSFO San Francisco International Airport from the south-east, tracking a heading of 292.0° at 2 nm and 1,766 ft above ground level. Local weather reported a temperature of 67 °F, wind 6 kt from 304°, with a 1 kt crosswind component and a 5 kt headwind component.
At the threshold the height of 136 ft agl was noted as excessively over target, while the threshold speed of 150 kt was slightly above target.
Touchdown occurred 593 ft beyond the designated touchdown zone with a speed of 141 kt described as good and a touchdown rate of minus 220 fpm assessed as fair. The aircraft’s touchdown position was misaligned by 26 ft from the centreline and the total landing distance measured 4,253 ft, representing 37 % of the runway length.
During rollout the aircraft’s alignment was significantly misaligned by 113 ft from the centreline.
Refine the approach to achieve a lower threshold height and adjust the touchdown point to reduce the runway rollout deviation. Improving alignment control on rollout will help bring the overall performance closer to the target envelope.
