MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with seven checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway. They are the approach's score: the checks passed out of the checks that ran.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,124 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 538 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The Boeing 737-700 taxied from the parking area to runway 07 at UKHH Kharkiv International Airport in 3 minutes, covering less than 1 nm.
During the departure roll on runway 07, the aircraft accelerated to a liftoff speed of 143 kt and left the ground after a takeoff distance of 942 m, representing 38 % of the runway; ambient temperature was 17 °C with a wind of 5 kt from 52°, including a 2 kt crosswind and a 4 kt headwind.
Climb commenced overhead the departure airport, with the airplane ascending from 1,492 ft asl to 39,993 ft asl, a gain of 38,501 ft achieved in 44 minutes while covering 324 nm.
Level cruise began 8 mi north-east of Lityn in Vinnytsya Oblast and continued for 194 minutes, during which the flight traversed 1,488 nm.
Descent was initiated 6 mi south-east of Segura de la Sierra in Andalusia, Spain, with the aircraft descending from 39,999 ft asl to 1,345 ft asl, a loss of 38,655 ft in 22 minutes and a distance of 141 nm.
The final approach to runway 12 at LEMG Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport involved a descent from 1,343 ft agl to 41 ft agl over 106 seconds, with the aircraft meeting the stabilisation gates criteria.
Landing on runway 12 was executed with a threshold speed of 127 kt; touchdown occurred 113 m beyond the touchdown zone at a speed of 118 kt and a vertical speed of minus 119 fpm, while runway conditions included a length of 3,124 m, a total landing distance of 1,002 m (32 % of runway), and local weather of 28 °C, wind 4 kt from 152°, 2 kt crosswind and 4 kt headwind.
Runway rollout alignment was reported as perfect following the touchdown.
The aircraft taxied from the runway to the parking area in 1 minute, covering less than 1 nm.
Overall, the flight covered 1,959 nm, took 267, and consumed 10,752 kg of fuel.
The Boeing 737-700 executed a stabilised approach to runway 12 at LEMG Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport, with gear, flaps, sink rate, glideslope, centreline and speed all within limits as assessed at the 1,000 ft gate. Descent was from 1,343 ft agl to 41 ft agl in 106 seconds and the approach earned full marks on the stabilisation gates.
Threshold height was reported as good and the threshold speed was good at 127 kt, indicating the aircraft met the required parameters for the flare and touchdown preparation.
Touchdown occurred 113 m beyond the touchdown zone with a touchdown speed of 118 kt judged good, a smooth vertical rate of minus 119 fpm and runway touchdown alignment described as very good.
The aircraft rolled out on runway 12, which is 3,124 m long, covering a total landing distance of 1,002 m (32 % of the runway) while maintaining perfect runway rollout alignment.
With a landing score of 99.2 %, the performance was excellent; the primary refinement is to aim for touchdown within the designated zone rather than beyond it, which will further reduce rollout distance while preserving the current speed and alignment standards.
