MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Know your rotation speed
A typical trainer rotates in the mid-50s of knots - a 172 at around 55 KIAS, climbing out at a Vy in the low 70s, though check your own POH rather than memorising Cessna's numbers - and the transferable rule is that Vr sits just above the stall speed in takeoff configuration. Rotate early because "it felt ready" and the aircraft lifts off inside ground effect, where induced drag is reduced, then climbs out of it into more drag. On a marginal-performance day the result is an aircraft that lifts off and then refuses to climb, sagging back towards the runway.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,097 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 482 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 2 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The aircraft, a Boeing 737-600, then departed from runway 35 at SCVD Pichoy Airport. The takeoff distance was 1,049 meters, which was 50% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 151 knots, and the local weather conditions were characterized by a temperature of 9°C, a wind speed of 2 knots at 79°, with a crosswind of 1 knot and a headwind of 0 knots.
As the aircraft climbed out of SCVD Pichoy Airport, it began its enroute climb 1 mile north of the airport. The climb started from an altitude of 1,125 feet above sea level and reached a maximum altitude of 39,222 feet above sea level, an increase of 38,096 feet in 34 minutes, covering a distance of 243 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise then began 8 miles northeast of Contraalmirante Cordero, in the Rio Negro Province of Argentina, and lasted for 121 minutes, covering a distance of 1,135 nautical miles.
The enroute descent started 17 miles south of SIBO Sítio São Luiz Airport Boa Esperança, in the Parana region of Brazil. The descent from 39,144 feet above sea level to 2,976 feet above sea level, a decrease of 36,169 feet, took 12 minutes and covered a distance of 75 nautical miles. The final approach to runway 10 at SBMG Regional de Maringá - Sílvio Name Júnior Airport was made from the west, heading 78.0°, at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,195 feet above ground level.
The landing on runway 10 at SBMG Regional de Maringá - Sílvio Name Júnior Airport, which had a length of 2,097 meters, was successful, with a good threshold height and a threshold speed of 130 knots. The touchdown point was 64 meters beyond the touchdown zone, with a touchdown speed of 121 knots and a touchdown rate of -5 feet per minute, which was perfect. However, the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 5.1 meters from the centerline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 23°C, a wind speed of 4 knots at 39°, with a crosswind of 3 knots and a headwind of 4 knots.
The total landing distance was 901 meters, which was 43% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was very good. The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took 1 minute and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 1,459 nautical miles, taking 173 minutes, and the aircraft used 8,207 kilograms of fuel.
The Boeing 737-600 aircraft successfully landed at SBMG Regional de Maringá - Sílvio Name Júnior Airport, achieving a high score of 99.0%. The final approach to runway 10 was conducted from the west, with a heading of 78.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,195 feet above ground level.
The aircraft touched down on the runway, with a threshold speed of 130 knots being maintained. The touchdown point was located 64 meters beyond the designated touchdown zone, which is slightly outside the recommended area. However, the touchdown speed of 121 knots was within the acceptable range, and the touchdown rate of -5 feet per minute was perfect, indicating a smooth and controlled descent.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned from the centerline by 5.1 meters, which may require some adjustments during future landings. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were favorable, with a temperature of 23°C and a gentle wind of 4 knots at 39°. The crosswind component was minimal at 3 knots, while the headwind component was 4 knots, which helped to stabilize the aircraft during the landing.
The total landing distance of 901 meters was 43% of the available runway length, indicating a relatively short landing roll. The runway rollout alignment was very good, suggesting that the aircraft's brakes were applied smoothly and effectively to bring the plane to a stop. Overall, the landing was successful, and the aircraft was brought to a safe stop within a short distance from the runway threshold.
