Maintain the centreline
A small uncorrected heading error at 40 knots becomes a metre of offset per second by 100 knots, noticed only at rotation, producing a crabbed liftoff. Root cause is nearly always eyes on the tape instead of the far end of the runway. Small heading changes displace a distant point visibly long before the nearby centreline stripes look wrong.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 1,988 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 273 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the aircraft, an Airbus A319, taxiing from the parking area to the runway at EKAH Aarhus Airport, taking approximately 8 minutes to cover a distance of 2 nautical miles. The departure roll took place on runway 28L, with the aircraft lifting off after a takeoff distance of 1,056 meters, which accounted for 39% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 140 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 9 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 13 knots blowing from a direction of 320 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 8 knots and a headwind of 10 knots. The aircraft then began its enroute climb, starting overhead EKAH Aarhus Airport and ascending from an altitude of 1,086 feet above sea level to 26,772 feet above sea level, an increase of 25,686 feet in 16 minutes, covering a distance of 59 nautical miles.
Following the enroute climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, starting overhead Arslev and lasting for 10 minutes, during which it covered a distance of 42 nautical miles. The enroute descent then began 2 miles south of EKNA Næstved Flyveplads Naestved, with the aircraft descending from 26,785 feet above sea level to 2,008 feet above sea level, a decrease of 24,777 feet in 18 minutes, covering a distance of 93 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise phase, starting 10 miles west of Ronne and lasting for 3 minutes, during which it covered a distance of 8 nautical miles. The final approach to runway 11 at EKRN Bornholm Airport was made from the west, with the aircraft heading 114.0 degrees at an altitude of 1,287 feet above ground level and a distance of 4 nautical miles from the runway.
The landing took place on runway 11, which had a length of 1,988 meters. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was also satisfactory at 124 knots. However, the touchdown speed was a little fast at 125 knots, and the touchdown rate was hard at -441 feet per minute. The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned from the centerline by 4.2 meters. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 14 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 9 knots blowing from a direction of 149 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 5 knots and a headwind of 7 knots.
The total landing distance was 833 meters, which accounted for 42% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was very good. The taxiing from the runway to the parking area took approximately 1 minute, covering a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 209 nautical miles, taking a total of 59 minutes, and the aircraft used 2,706 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Airbus A319 aircraft successfully landed at EKRN Bornholm Airport, achieving a score of 96.0%. The final approach to runway 11 was initiated from the west, with a heading of 114.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,287 feet above ground level (agl).
The aircraft touched down on the runway with a good threshold height, and the threshold speed was also satisfactory at 124 knots. However, the touchdown speed of 125 knots was slightly higher than ideal, which may have contributed to a harder touchdown rate of -441 feet per minute (fpm). This indicates that the aircraft may have experienced a slight bounce or jolt upon touchdown.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned from the centreline by 4.2 meters, which may have been due to factors such as crosswind or pilot error. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 14°C, with a wind speed of 9 knots at 149°. The crosswind component was 5 knots, while the headwind component was 7 knots.
The total landing distance of 833 meters was 42% of the runway length, which is a relatively short distance. This suggests that the aircraft was able to touch down and come to a stop within a relatively short period of time. The runway rollout alignment was very good, indicating that the aircraft was able to maintain a stable and controlled descent during the rollout phase.
Overall, the landing was successful, but there were some minor issues with the touchdown speed and runway alignment. However, the aircraft was able to come to a stop within a relatively short distance, and the rollout alignment was excellent.
