Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 2,663 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 2,663 m of the 3,987 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 890 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 7 minutes and covered a distance of 3 nautical miles. The aircraft, a Boeing 777F, then departed from runway 26L at Leipzig/Halle Airport, EDDP. The takeoff distance was 1,555 meters, which is 43% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 193 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were a temperature of 2 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 15 knots at a direction of 309 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 11 knots and a headwind of 11 knots. The aircraft then began its enroute climb, starting 1 mile northwest of Schkeuditz, Saxony, Germany. The climb took 15 minutes, during which the aircraft ascended from 1,507 feet above sea level to 29,501 feet above sea level, an increase of 27,994 feet. The distance covered during this climb was 83 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise started overhead Trostau, Bavaria, Germany, and lasted for 85 minutes, covering a distance of 702 nautical miles. The aircraft then began another enroute climb, this time starting 20 miles northwest of Trapani, Sicilia, Italy. The climb took only 2 minutes, during which the aircraft ascended from 29,806 feet above sea level to 31,755 feet above sea level, an increase of 1,948 feet. The distance covered during this climb was 18 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise started 3 miles north of Favignana, Sicilia, Italy, and lasted for 183 minutes, covering a distance of 1,476 nautical miles. The aircraft then began another enroute climb, this time starting 15 miles east of Bol-Berim Airport, Lac Region, Chad. The climb took 2 minutes, during which the aircraft ascended from 35,117 feet above sea level to 36,328 feet above sea level, an increase of 1,211 feet. The distance covered during this climb was 17 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise started 21 miles southeast of Bol-Berim Airport, Lac Region, Chad, and lasted for 195 minutes, covering a distance of 1,593 nautical miles. The aircraft then began another enroute climb, this time starting 46 miles east of Lucusse Airport, Leua, Moxico, Angola. The climb took 2 minutes, during which the aircraft ascended from 36,409 feet above sea level to 38,461 feet above sea level, an increase of 2,052 feet. The distance covered during this climb was 17 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise started 6 miles northwest of Capitango, Moxico, Angola, and lasted for 326 minutes, covering a distance of 810 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent, starting 12 miles southwest of Mogwase Airport, Limpopo, South Africa. The descent took 19 minutes, during which the aircraft descended from 38,580 feet above sea level to 6,877 feet above sea level, a decrease of 31,702 feet. The distance covered during this descent was 73 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 03L at O.R. Tambo International Airport, FAOR, was made from the south, heading 16.0 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 1,367 feet above ground level. The landing was made on runway 03L, which has a length of 3,987 meters. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was also good at 133 knots.

The Boeing 777F aircraft successfully landed at O.R. Tambo International Airport's runway 03L, achieving a high score of 90.2%. The final approach was conducted from the south, with a heading of 16.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,367 feet above ground level.
The aircraft touched down on the runway with a good threshold height and a threshold speed of 133 knots, which is within the acceptable range. The touchdown point was located 474 meters beyond the touchdown zone, indicating a slight overrun. However, the touchdown speed of 133 knots was considered good, and the touchdown rate of -177 feet per minute was also within the acceptable limits.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned from the centerline by 6.3 meters, which may require some adjustments during the landing process. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were moderate, with a temperature of 17°C and a wind speed of 14 knots from a direction of 70°. The crosswind component was 11 knots, while the headwind component was 8 knots.
The total landing distance of 2,583 meters was 65% of the runway length, which is a relatively short distance considering the aircraft's size and weight. The runway rollout alignment was very good, indicating that the aircraft was able to maintain a stable and controlled descent during the landing process.
Overall, the landing was considered successful, with the aircraft achieving a high score and demonstrating good control and stability during the final approach and touchdown phases. However, the slight overrun and misaligned touchdown position may require some adjustments to the landing procedure to ensure optimal performance.
