MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Know your rotation speed
A typical trainer rotates in the mid-50s of knots - a 172 at around 55 KIAS, climbing out at a Vy in the low 70s, though check your own POH rather than memorising Cessna's numbers - and the transferable rule is that Vr sits just above the stall speed in takeoff configuration. Rotate early because "it felt ready" and the aircraft lifts off inside ground effect, where induced drag is reduced, then climbs out of it into more drag. On a marginal-performance day the result is an aircraft that lifts off and then refuses to climb, sagging back towards the runway.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 7,596 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 1,649 ft touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Overall, your aircraft landing score of 93.4% is quite impressive. However, there are a few areas that could use some improvement in order to achieve an even higher score in the future.
During the Approach Phase, it is important to maintain a descent path within the glideslope limit and ensure that your speed remains within the target range. By working on these aspects, you can improve the overall smoothness and consistency of your approach.
In the Landing Phase, paying attention to the threshold height and bank angle stability can help you achieve a more precise and controlled landing. While it is commendable that you had a great landing flare, focusing on these key elements can further enhance the quality of your touchdown.
In the Touchdown Phase, maintaining a smooth touchdown rate and ensuring that your speed is on target can help enhance the overall quality of the landing. Additionally, working on touchdown point accuracy and runway alignment can further improve the precision of your landings.
Overall, with some attention to detail and practice, you have the potential to achieve even higher scores in your future landings. Keep up the good work and continue to strive for excellence in your aircraft operations. Your dedication to improvement is commendable, and I have no doubt that you will see continued success in your flying endeavors. Keep up the great work!
