Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,893 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,893 m of the 4,190 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 681 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the Boeing 777-300 taxiing from the parking area to the runway at OEJN King Abdulaziz International Airport, taking 7 minutes and covering a distance of 2 nautical miles. The departure roll took place on runway 34R, with a takeoff distance of 867 meters, which was 22% of the runway length. The aircraft lifted off at a speed of 168 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 27 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 7 knots from a direction of 350 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 1 knot and a headwind of 7 knots. The aircraft then began its enroute climb, starting 1 mile northeast of the airport and ascending from an altitude of 1,051 feet above sea level to 37,051 feet above sea level, an increase of 36,000 feet in 16 minutes, covering a distance of 128 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise phase began 50 miles south of OEPJ Pump Station 10 Airport, lasting 94 minutes and covering a distance of 806 nautical miles. The aircraft then started its enroute descent, beginning 1 mile south of OIHR Arak Airport, and descending from 37,083 feet above sea level to 8,033 feet above sea level, a decrease of 29,050 feet in 14 minutes, covering a distance of 89 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered another enroute level cruise phase, starting 13 miles southwest of Robat Karim, lasting 4 minutes and covering a distance of 20 nautical miles. The final enroute descent phase began 14 miles southeast of OIIE Imam Khomeini International Airport, and the aircraft descended from 7,523 feet above sea level to 4,522 feet above sea level, a decrease of 3,001 feet in 5 minutes, covering a distance of 12 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 29R at OIIE Imam Khomeini International Airport was made from the east, heading 289.0 degrees at an altitude of 1,231 feet above ground level, 4 nautical miles from the runway. The landing took place on runway 29R, which had a length of 4,190 meters. The threshold height was slightly above the target, and the threshold speed was also slightly above the target at 142 knots.
The touchdown point was 264 meters beyond the touchdown zone, with a touchdown speed of 134 knots, which was a little fast. However, the touchdown rate was excellent at -75 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown alignment was perfect. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 9 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 2 knots from a direction of 140 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 1 knot and a tailwind of 2 knots.
The total landing distance was 1,811 meters, which was 43% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was also perfect. The aircraft then taxied to the parking area from the runway, taking 4 minutes and covering a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 1,065 nautical miles, taking 145 minutes, and the aircraft used 15,952 kilograms of fuel.
The Boeing 777-300 aircraft successfully landed at OIIE Imam Khomeini International Airport, achieving a score of 94.2%. The final approach to runway 29R was conducted from the east, with a heading of 289.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,231 feet above ground level (agl).
Upon landing, the aircraft touched down 264 meters beyond the touchdown zone, which is slightly beyond the ideal point. The touchdown speed of 134 knots was a little fast, indicating that the pilot may have been able to flare the aircraft more effectively to achieve a smoother touchdown. However, the touchdown rate of -75 feet per minute (fpm) was excellent, demonstrating good control and precision during the landing.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were relatively calm, with a temperature of 9°C and a wind speed of 2 knots from a direction of 140°. This resulted in a crosswind of 1 knot and a tailwind of 2 knots, which did not significantly impact the landing. The runway length of 4,190 meters was more than sufficient to accommodate the aircraft's landing distance of 1,811 meters, which accounted for 43% of the runway.
The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, indicating that the pilot had successfully aligned the aircraft with the runway centerline. Similarly, the runway rollout alignment was also perfect, demonstrating good control and precision during the rollout phase. Overall, the landing was successful, and the pilot's skills and experience were evident in the execution of the landing.
