Shorten the long landing
Ground effect becomes significant below about one wingspan of height. A Cessna 172, with a 36 ft span, enters ground effect at flare height - the float it feels in the hold-off is ground effect arriving on cue. An A320, with a span around 117 ft, has been in ground effect since before the threshold and there is no sudden cushion to feel, only a gradual reduction in induced drag that lengthens any float you allow.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 2,171 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 2,171 m of the 3,570 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 396 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Great job on achieving a landing score of 94.6%! Let's break down your performance in each phase:
The Approach Phase had a good glideslope alignment, indicating that you were able to maintain the correct altitude throughout the descent. Although your speed was slightly above target, it did not pose a major issue and can easily be controlled with practice.
Moving on to the Landing Phase, it is commendable that your threshold height was slightly above target and that you executed a very good landing flare. This indicates that you were able to smoothly transition from the descent to the touchdown phase. Keep working on maintaining the ideal threshold height for future landings.
In the Touchdown Phase, while the touchdown rate was a bit heavy and your speed was slightly above target, it's great to see that you were able to land within the touchdown zone. The fact that your runway touchdown position was only 1.7 m off the centerline is impressive and shows good control of the aircraft during the crucial moment of touchdown.
Finally, in the Rollout Phase, your runway alignment was very good, indicating that you were able to maintain a straight path down the runway after landing. This is important for safe taxiing and reduces wear and tear on the aircraft's landing gear.
Overall, your performance was solid with room for improvement in certain areas. Keep practicing and fine-tuning your skills, and you'll continue to see improvements in your landings. Congratulations on a job well done!
