Shorten the long landing
Ground effect becomes significant below about one wingspan of height. A Cessna 172, with a 36 ft span, enters ground effect at flare height - the float it feels in the hold-off is ground effect arriving on cue. An A320, with a span around 117 ft, has been in ground effect since before the threshold and there is no sudden cushion to feel, only a gradual reduction in induced drag that lengthens any float you allow.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,821 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,821 m of the 3,053 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 691 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Great job on achieving a landing score of 93.2%!
Let's break down the different phases of the landing and see where improvements can be made.
During the Approach Phase, it's important to maintain a steady descent path and stay on the glideslope. In this case, the descent path was below the glideslope limit which can lead to a less than optimal landing. Additionally, the speed was well above the target which can make it harder to control the aircraft during the landing.
Moving on to the Landing Phase, while the threshold height was below target, the excellent landing flare made for a smooth touchdown. However, the touchdown rate was firm and the speed was a little above target. It's important to ensure a softer touchdown to reduce wear and tear on the aircraft.
In the Touchdown Phase, the touchdown point being 277m beyond the touchdown zone and 5.1m from the centerline can be improved upon. It's crucial to have precision in landing to ensure safety and efficiency.
Lastly, in the Rollout Phase, the runway alignment was slightly off at 5.6m from the centerline. Keeping the aircraft aligned with the runway is crucial for a safe and smooth rollout.
Overall, while there are areas that can be improved upon, achieving a landing score of 93.2% is a great accomplishment. By focusing on maintaining a steady descent path, controlling speed, ensuring soft touchdowns, and improving alignment, you can continue to enhance your landing skills. Keep up the good work and keep striving for excellence in every landing!
