MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Know your rotation speed
A typical trainer rotates in the mid-50s of knots - a 172 at around 55 KIAS, climbing out at a Vy in the low 70s, though check your own POH rather than memorising Cessna's numbers - and the transferable rule is that Vr sits just above the stall speed in takeoff configuration. Rotate early because "it felt ready" and the aircraft lifts off inside ground effect, where induced drag is reduced, then climbs out of it into more drag. On a marginal-performance day the result is an aircraft that lifts off and then refuses to climb, sagging back towards the runway.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 6,715 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 530 ft touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Great job on achieving a landing score of 92.6%! Your performance in the Approach Phase may have had some issues with the descent path being above the glideslope limit and the speed being below target. Remember to be cautious and avoid stalling in future landings.
Moving on to the Landing Phase, you did exceptionally well with a good threshold height and a great landing flare. This shows that you have a good control over the aircraft during the crucial moments of landing.
In the Touchdown Phase, your touchdown rate was firm and the speed was on target. Additionally, landing within the touchdown zone and having a touchdown distance inside it is a commendable feat. Your positioning on the runway, just 12 ft from the centreline, also displays great precision and accuracy.
As for the Rollout Phase, while the runway alignment was slightly off at 10 ft from the centreline, this is a minor area for improvement. Overall, your performance indicates that you have a strong understanding of aircraft handling and landing procedures.
Keep up the good work and continue practicing to refine your skills even further. With a few adjustments, you can elevate your performance to even higher levels. Congratulations on a job well done!
