Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 2,166 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 2,166 m of the 3,411 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 620 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight in question was operated by a Boeing 777F aircraft, departing from Dubai International Airport (OMDB) on runway 30R. The taxiing process from the parking area to the runway took approximately 4 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The takeoff distance was 1,722 meters, which accounted for 48% of the runway length. The aircraft lifted off at a speed of 173 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 36 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 4 knots at 220 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 4 knots and a headwind of 1 knot. The aircraft began its enroute climb 1 mile northwest of the airport, ascending from 1,050 feet above sea level to 32,425 feet, an increase of 31,374 feet in 22 minutes, covering a distance of 128 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise started 5 miles west of the Gulf of Oman, where the aircraft maintained a steady altitude for 102 minutes, covering 868 nautical miles. The aircraft then began another climb 14 miles west of Chinchani, India, ascending from 32,681 feet to 34,365 feet in 2 minutes, covering 14 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise resumed 2 miles northeast of Chinchani, lasting 164 minutes and covering 1,376 nautical miles.
The aircraft continued its climb at Latitude 14.613541 and Longitude 96.1267468, ascending from 34,867 feet to 36,576 feet in 2 minutes, covering 13 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise started 97 miles southwest of Ye Airport in Myanmar, lasting 161 minutes and covering 1,317 nautical miles.
As the aircraft approached its destination, it began its descent 52 miles southwest of the Amphibious Ready Group in the Philippines. The descent from 36,533 feet to 1,453 feet took 21 minutes, covering 115 nautical miles. The final approach to runway 06 at Ninoy Aquino International Airport was made from the southwest, with a heading of 61.0 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 1,399 feet above ground level.
The landing on runway 06 was successful, with a touchdown point 209 meters beyond the touchdown zone. The touchdown speed was 144 knots, which was good, and the touchdown rate was firm at -313 feet per minute. However, the runway touchdown position was misaligned by 8.7 meters from the centerline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 34 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 10 knots at 119 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 9 knots and a headwind of 5 knots.
The total landing distance was 2,090 meters, which accounted for 61% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 11.5 meters from the centerline. The taxiing process from the runway to the parking area took approximately 1 minute and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 3,841 nautical miles, taking 482 minutes, and the aircraft used 69,545 kilograms of fuel.
The Boeing 777F aircraft successfully landed at RPLL Ninoy Aquino International Airport, achieving a score of 92.8%. The final approach to runway 06 was initiated from the southwest, with a heading of 61.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,399 feet above ground level (agl). The aircraft's approach was well-executed, with a good threshold height and a threshold speed that was well above the target at 155 knots.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft landed 209 meters beyond the touchdown zone, with a touchdown speed of 144 knots, which was considered good. The touchdown rate was firm at -313 feet per minute, indicating a controlled descent. However, there were some minor issues with the landing, as the runway touchdown position was misaligned by 8.7 meters from the centerline.
The local weather conditions at the time of the landing were characterized by a temperature of 34°C and winds of 10 knots at 119°. The crosswind component was 9 knots, while the headwind component was 5 knots. Despite these conditions, the aircraft's landing distance was 2,090 meters, which was 61% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was also slightly misaligned by 11.5 meters from the centerline.
Overall, the landing was considered successful, with the aircraft achieving a good touchdown speed and a firm touchdown rate. However, there were some minor issues with the alignment of the runway touchdown position and the runway rollout alignment, which may require further attention to improve the aircraft's landing performance.
