MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Smooth the climb
Pull to 15 degrees at one rate and you get a clean liftoff, pull to the same 15 degrees at twice the rate and you get an overshoot, a push, and an oscillation through the first few hundred feet. The type-general rule of thumb is a rotation rate of about 2 to 3 degrees per second, which means roughly five to seven seconds from starting the pull to reaching the initial climb attitude of around 15 degrees nose-up. Count it out loud during your next takeoff and you will almost certainly discover you have been rotating in two seconds flat.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,531 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,531 m of the 3,501 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 452 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the Airbus A320 taxiing from the parking area to the runway at Lille Airport, taking 7 minutes and covering a distance of 1 nautical mile. The departure roll took place on runway 26, with the aircraft taking off after covering 57% of the runway's length. The takeoff distance was 1,456 meters, and the liftoff speed was 152 knots.
As the aircraft climbed into the air, it encountered local weather conditions of 13°C temperature and a wind speed of 9 knots at 179 degrees. The crosswind was 9 knots, while the headwind was 2 knots. The enroute climb started overhead Templemars, a town in the Hauts-de-France region of France, and continued to an altitude of 32,766 feet above sea level, an increase of 31,538 feet from the initial altitude of 1,227 feet. This climb took 18 minutes and covered a distance of 98 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise began overhead Tremblay-en-France, a town in the Ile-de-France region of France, and lasted for 31 minutes, covering a distance of 214 nautical miles. The aircraft then started its enroute descent 1 mile south of Sarran, a town in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France. The descent took 21 minutes and covered a distance of 105 nautical miles, with the aircraft decreasing its altitude from 32,781 feet to 1,782 feet above sea level.
The final approach to runway 14R at Toulouse-Blagnac Airport took place from the northwest, with the aircraft heading at 143.0 degrees and being 4 nautical miles away from the runway. The local weather conditions at the airport were 12°C temperature and a wind speed of 8 knots at 120 degrees, with a crosswind of 3 knots and a headwind of 7 knots.
The landing on runway 14R was successful, with the aircraft touching down at a speed of 132 knots, which was a little fast. However, the touchdown rate was smooth at -149 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown alignment was very good. The total landing distance was 1,451 meters, which was 41% of the runway's length. The runway rollout alignment was perfect, and the aircraft taxied to the parking area in 3 minutes, covering a distance of less than 1 nautical mile.
The total flight distance was 426 nautical miles, and the flight took 82 minutes to complete. The aircraft used 3,230 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Airbus A320 successfully landed on runway 14R at Toulouse-Blagnac Airport (LFBO) with a score of 99.9%. The aircraft approached the runway from the northwest, heading 143.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,278 feet above ground level (agl). The pilot maintained a good threshold height, which is a crucial aspect of a safe landing.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft's threshold speed was within the acceptable range at 139 knots. However, the touchdown speed of 132 knots was slightly faster than ideal, which may have resulted in a slightly longer rollout distance. Nevertheless, the touchdown rate was smooth at -149 feet per minute (fpm), indicating a controlled descent.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were favorable, with a temperature of 12°C and a gentle wind of 8 knots at 120°. The crosswind component was minimal at 3 knots, while the headwind component was 7 knots, which helped to reduce the aircraft's ground speed and improve control during the landing.
The total landing distance of 1,451 meters was within the acceptable range, accounting for 41% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was perfect, indicating that the pilot maintained control of the aircraft during the rollout phase and brought it to a stop safely.
Overall, the landing was successful, and the pilot demonstrated excellent skills and control throughout the approach and landing phases. The minor deviations from ideal touchdown speed and distance were not significant enough to compromise the safety of the aircraft or its occupants.
