Improve the taxi
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 9,337 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 2,136 ft past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the aircraft taxiing from the parking area to the runway, a process that took just 1 minute and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The Airbus A320 then departed from runway 22L at KEWR Newark Liberty International Airport, with a takeoff distance of 196 feet, which was just 3% of the runway's length. The liftoff speed was 155 knots.
As the aircraft climbed out of Newark, it began its enroute climb, starting 1 mile east of Elizabeth, New Jersey. The climb took the aircraft from an initial altitude of 980 feet above sea level to a maximum altitude of 31,890 feet, an increase of 30,909 feet in just 15 minutes, covering a distance of 85 nautical miles. The local weather conditions at the time were characterized by a temperature of 64 degrees Fahrenheit.
Following the initial climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, starting 1 mile south of Mohnton, Pennsylvania. This phase of the flight lasted for 78 minutes, during which the aircraft covered a distance of 552 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its descent, starting 4 miles north of Adairville, Kentucky, and descended from an altitude of 31,400 feet to 13,999 feet, a decrease of 17,401 feet in 18 minutes, covering a distance of 83 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise phase, starting 4 miles northeast of Huntingdon, Tennessee, and lasted for 11 minutes, covering a distance of 37 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its descent again, starting 4 miles southeast of Alamo, Tennessee, and descended from an altitude of 13,998 feet to 3,975 feet, a decrease of 10,023 feet in 7 minutes, covering a distance of 24 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise phase, starting 8 miles southeast of Thurmond Glenn Field Covington, Tennessee, and lasted for 16 minutes, covering a distance of 44 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its descent once more, starting overhead MS64 Vaiden Landing Airport Hernando, Mississippi, and descended from an altitude of 4,000 feet to 2,464 feet, a decrease of 1,536 feet in 3 minutes, covering a distance of 8 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise phase, starting 2 miles northeast of Coldwater, Mississippi, and lasted for 7 minutes, covering a distance of 14 nautical miles. The final approach to runway 36L at KMEM Memphis International Airport was made from the south, with the aircraft heading 359.0 degrees at an altitude of 1,298 feet above ground level and a distance of 4 nautical miles from the runway.
The aircraft landed on runway 36L at KMEM Memphis International Airport, with a runway length of 9,337 feet. The touchdown point was 762 feet beyond the touchdown zone, with a touchdown speed of 129 knots, which was considered good. The touchdown rate was fair at -261 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown alignment was perfect. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 64 degrees Fahrenheit.
The total landing distance was 4,114 feet, which was 44% of the runway's length. The runway rollout alignment was also perfect. The total flight distance was 852 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 160 minutes. The aircraft used a total of 13,612 pounds of fuel during the flight.
The Airbus A320 successfully landed at Memphis International Airport (KMEM) on runway 36L, achieving a high score of 97.4%. The aircraft approached the runway from the south, heading 359.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,298 feet above ground level (agl). The pilot maintained a good threshold height, which is a critical aspect of a safe landing.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft's threshold speed was recorded at 138 knots, which is within the acceptable range. The touchdown point was located 762 feet beyond the designated touchdown zone, indicating a slight overrun. However, the touchdown speed of 129 knots was still within the acceptable limits. The touchdown rate of -261 feet per minute (fpm) was considered fair, suggesting that the aircraft could have been brought down more smoothly.
The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, indicating that the aircraft was properly aligned with the runway during the landing. The local weather conditions at the time of the landing were favorable, with a temperature of 64°F. The total landing distance of 4,114 feet was 44% of the runway length, which is a relatively short distance considering the aircraft's size and weight.
During the rollout, the aircraft maintained perfect alignment with the runway, indicating that the pilot had excellent control over the aircraft's speed and direction. Overall, the landing was considered successful, with the aircraft touching down safely and coming to a stop within a reasonable distance.
