MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Know your rotation speed
A typical trainer rotates in the mid-50s of knots - a 172 at around 55 KIAS, climbing out at a Vy in the low 70s, though check your own POH rather than memorising Cessna's numbers - and the transferable rule is that Vr sits just above the stall speed in takeoff configuration. Rotate early because "it felt ready" and the aircraft lifts off inside ground effect, where induced drag is reduced, then climbs out of it into more drag. On a marginal-performance day the result is an aircraft that lifts off and then refuses to climb, sagging back towards the runway.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,589 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,589 m of the 2,998 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 383 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Congratulations on achieving a remarkable aircraft landing score of 99.4%! Your performance during all phases of the landing process was truly exceptional.
During the Approach Phase, your glideslope alignment was excellent, which indicates a high level of precision and skill in maintaining the correct descent path towards the runway. This is a critical aspect of the landing process and your proficiency in this area is commendable.
Moving on to the Landing Phase, it is evident that you had a good threshold height and executed a great landing flare. The threshold height is crucial for a smooth touchdown, and your ability to gauge and control this effectively is impressive. Additionally, the successful execution of the landing flare demonstrates your proficiency in adjusting the aircraft's pitch at the right moment to ensure a smooth touchdown.
In the Touchdown Phase, your touchdown rate was firm and your speed was on target, indicating a solid understanding and control of the aircraft's dynamics during this critical phase. Furthermore, the fact that the touchdown distance was inside the touchdown zone and the runway touchdown position was only 2.0 meters from the centerline highlights your precision and accuracy in landing the aircraft.
Lastly, during the Rollout Phase, your runway alignment was very good, showcasing your ability to maintain the correct alignment and control the aircraft effectively as it decelerates on the runway.
Overall, your performance during this landing was outstanding, and your attention to detail and skillful execution of each phase of the landing process are truly commendable. Keep up the excellent work and continue to strive for perfection in your flying endeavors. Well done!
