MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 1,999 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 212 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a departure roll from runway 18 at SLGQ Chiquitos Airport, where the aircraft, a TBM 850, took off with a takeoff distance of 664 meters, which accounted for 51% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 95 knots. At the time of departure, the local weather conditions were characterized by a temperature of 16 degrees Celsius, a wind speed of 1 knot at 269 degrees, resulting in a crosswind of 1 knot and a headwind of 0 knots.
As the aircraft climbed, it started its enroute climb 2 miles south of SLGQ Chiquitos Airport, San Pedro, and ascended from an initial altitude of 2,041 feet above sea level to 10,001 feet above sea level, an increase of 7,960 feet in just 5 minutes, covering a distance of 40 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise then began 29 miles southwest of SLJE San José De Chiquitos Airport, San José de Chiquitos, and lasted for 55 minutes, covering a distance of 587 nautical miles.
The enroute descent started 25 miles southeast of Brasileia, Acre, Brazil, where the aircraft descended from 9,815 feet above sea level to 4,053 feet above sea level, a decrease of 5,762 feet in just 4 minutes, covering a distance of 16 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise then resumed 11 miles south of Cobija, Departamento de Pando, Bolivia, and lasted for 2 minutes, covering a distance of 3 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 02 at SLCO Capitán Aníbal Arab Airport from the south, heading 11.0 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 1,288 feet above ground level, was executed smoothly. The landing on runway 02 was successful, with a touchdown distance of 211 meters, which accounted for 19% of the runway. The touchdown speed was 61 knots, and the touchdown rate was -181 feet per minute, both of which were considered good. The runway touchdown alignment was also very good.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 15 degrees Celsius, a wind speed of 1 knot at 270 degrees, resulting in a crosswind of 1 knot and a headwind of 0 knots. The total landing distance was 378 meters, and the runway rollout alignment was also very good. Taxiing to the parking from the runway took less than 1 minute and covered less than 1 nautical mile.
In conclusion, the flight was a successful one, with the aircraft covering a total distance of 657 nautical miles in 58 minutes, using 267 kilograms of fuel. The flight crew executed the various phases of the flight, including departure, enroute climb, level cruise, descent, and final approach, with precision and skill, resulting in a smooth and safe landing.
The TBM 850 aircraft successfully landed at SLCO Capitán Aníbal Arab Airport, demonstrating exceptional piloting skills and adherence to standard operating procedures. The final approach to runway 02 from the south, heading 11.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,288 feet above ground level (agl), showcased the pilot's ability to navigate complex flight scenarios.
Upon landing, the aircraft touched down on the runway with a speed of 61 knots, which is well within the recommended threshold speed of 66 knots. The touchdown distance of 211 meters was also satisfactory, indicating a smooth and controlled descent. The touchdown rate of -181 feet per minute (fpm) was within the acceptable range, further emphasizing the pilot's expertise in managing the aircraft's descent.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were favorable, with a temperature of 15°C and a gentle wind of 1 knot from 270°. This minimal wind had a negligible impact on the aircraft's performance, allowing the pilot to maintain a stable approach and landing. The crosswind component was also minimal, at 1 knot, while the headwind component was zero, ensuring a straightforward landing.
The total landing distance of 378 meters, which accounts for only 19% of the runway length, is a testament to the pilot's exceptional skills and the aircraft's capabilities. The runway rollout alignment was also very good, indicating a smooth and controlled deceleration of the aircraft after touchdown. Overall, this landing demonstrates a high level of proficiency and adherence to standard operating procedures, resulting in a successful and safe landing.
