MY FS FLIGHTS

Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out. These checks are the approach's score.

The rest of the report
The Boeing 777F taxied from the parking area to runway 07L at Brussels Airport (EBBR) in 6 minutes, covering less than 1 nm.
During the departure roll on runway 07L, the aircraft accelerated to a liftoff speed of 174 kt, using a takeoff distance of 4,267 ft (39 % of runway). Local weather reported a temperature of 80 °F, wind 9 kt from 280°, a 5 kt crosswind and a 7 kt tailwind.
Climb commenced overhead Steenokkerzeel, rising from 1,052 ft asl to 22,972 ft asl - an increase of 21,921 ft - in 9 minutes while covering 52 nm.
The first cruise segment began 2 mi south of Seraing and lasted 6 minutes, during which the aircraft flew 48 nm.
Descent started over Uxheim, descending from 22,981 ft asl to 11,047 ft asl - a loss of 11,934 ft - in 8 minutes and covering 52 nm.
A second cruise phase originated 1 mi north of Geisenheim, lasting 5 minutes and spanning 27 nm.
The next descent began 1 mi southwest of EMRA Maurice Rose Airfield Frankfurt, dropping from 11,007 ft asl to 5,088 ft asl - a decrease of 5,919 ft - in 5 minutes over 23 nm.
A brief cruise segment started 3 mi north of Gelnhausen, lasting 3 minutes and covering 11 nm.
The final descent commenced 1 mi south of Erlensee, reducing altitude from 4,520 ft asl to 1,625 ft asl - a loss of 2,895 ft - in 5 minutes while traveling 12 nm.
On final approach to runway 25C at Frankfurt Airport (EDDF), the aircraft descended from 1,317 ft agl to 120 ft agl in 102 seconds and was scored on the stabilisation gates.
Landing on runway 25C was executed with a threshold height of 73 ft agl above target and a threshold speed of 152 kt. Touchdown occurred 1,582 ft beyond the touchdown zone at 146 kt, with a firm rate of -389 fpm and a lateral deviation of 20 ft from the centreline; local weather was 71 °F, wind 8 kt from 280°, a 4 kt crosswind and a 7 kt headwind.
Rollout distance measured 6,046 ft, representing 46 % of the runway, and alignment during rollout was very good.
In total, the flight covered 234 nm, required 54 minutes, and consumed 15,696 lbs of fuel.
The final approach to runway 25C at EDDF Frankfurt was assessed as stabilised at the 1,000 ft gate, with gear, flaps, sink rate, glideslope, centreline and speed all within limits, and the aircraft descended from 1,317 ft AGL to 120 ft AGL in 102 seconds.
During the threshold and flare phase the threshold height measured 73 ft AGL, which was well above the target, while the threshold speed was recorded as good at 152 kt.
Touchdown occurred 1,582 ft beyond the designated touchdown zone; the aircraft touched down at 146 kt, noted as a little fast, with a firm rate of minus 389 fpm and a runway touchdown position slightly misaligned by 20 ft from the centreline.
The rollout covered a total landing distance of 6,046 ft, representing 46 % of the 13,078-ft runway, and the runway rollout alignment was very good.
To reduce the excess distance beyond the touchdown zone, adjust the flare height to achieve the intended threshold height and fine-tune speed management to bring touchdown speed closer to the target, which will also lessen the firm rate and improve alignment consistency.
