MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with six checks at 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway. They are the approach's score: the checks passed out of the checks that ran.

The rest of the report
The Airbus A350-900 taxied from the parking area to runway 25L at HAAB Addis Ababa Bole International Airport in 7 minutes, covering 2 nm.
During the departure roll on runway 25L, the aircraft used 8,468 ft of runway (75 % of available length) and lifted off at 168 kt; ambient temperature was 64 °F with a wind of 2 kt from 279°, including a 1 kt cross-wind and a 1 kt head-wind.
The first en-route climb began 1 mile west of HAAB, climbing from 8,451 ft asl to 36,856 ft asl, an altitude gain of 28,404 ft achieved in 39 minutes while covering 282 nm.
Level cruise commenced 25 nm south-east of HCBK Borama Airport and continued for 199 minutes, during which 1,551 nm were flown.
A subsequent climb segment started at latitude 16.2864017, longitude 67.9726199, rising from 37,397 ft asl to 39,001 ft asl, a gain of 1,604 ft in 3 minutes over 24 nm.
The following cruise phase began at latitude 16.5049894, longitude 68.350669 and lasted 222 minutes, covering 1,730 nm.
A third climb was initiated overhead VYLS Lashio Airport, increasing altitude from 39,023 ft asl to 40,995 ft asl, a rise of 1,973 ft in 3 minutes across 25 nm.
The next cruise segment started 25 nm east of VYLS Lashio Airport and persisted for 229 minutes, during which 1,847 nm were traversed.
Descent began 3 nm south of Jeongeup, South Korea, descending from 41,001 ft asl to 1,300 ft asl, a loss of 39,701 ft in 20 minutes while covering 118 nm.
The final approach to runway 34R at RKSI Incheon International Airport was flown from the south-east on a heading of 325.0° at 4 nm and 1,266 ft agl, followed by a further descent from 1,313 ft agl to 97 ft agl in 105 seconds, with the aircraft scoring on the stabilisation gates.
Landing on runway 34R, which is 13,091 ft long, occurred with a threshold height of 63 ft agl (above target) and a threshold speed of 136 kt; touchdown was 953 ft beyond the touchdown zone at 133 kt, with a touchdown rate of minus 276 fpm and a lateral deviation of 12 ft from the centreline. Local weather reported a temperature of 72 °F, wind 4 kt from 269°, including a 3 kt cross-wind and a 2 kt head-wind. Total landing distance was 4,819 ft (37 % of runway).
Runway rollout alignment was reported as very good.
The aircraft taxied from the runway to the parking area in 1 minute, covering less than 1 nm.
Overall, the flight covered 5,591 nm, lasted 728 (units as given), and consumed 149,755 lbs of fuel.
The Airbus A350-900 entered the final approach to runway 34R at Incheon International Airport from the south-east on a heading of 325.0° at 4 nm and 1,266 ft agl. The approach was assessed as stabilised at the 1,000 ft gate, with gear, flaps, sink rate, glideslope, centreline and speed all within limits, and the aircraft descended from 1,313 ft agl to 97 ft agl in 105 seconds.
At threshold the aircraft was 63 ft agl, which was above the target height, and the threshold speed was recorded as good at 136 kt.
Touchdown occurred 953 ft beyond the touchdown zone with a speed of 133 kt, noted as a little fast, and a touchdown rate described as fair at minus 276 fpm. The touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 12 ft from the centreline.
Rollout alignment was very good, the aircraft travelled a total landing distance of 4,819 ft, representing 37 % of the 13,091 ft runway, in weather of 72 °F, wind 4 kt from 269°, crosswind 3 kt and headwind 2 kt.
Reduce the touchdown speed slightly and aim to achieve the touchdown point nearer the intended aim point to improve runway utilisation and margin. Adjust the flare timing to lower the touchdown point and further moderate the descent rate.
