Improve the rollout
A crosswind landing is a geometry problem. The air mass you're flying in is moving sideways across the runway, and you need your ground track down the centreline with your wheels aligned to it at the moment of contact. There are two techniques that will help, the crab and the sideslip.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with seven checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway. They are the approach's score: the checks passed out of the checks that ran.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 2,001 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 2,001 m of the 3,222 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 514 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The Airbus A321-ceo taxied from the parking area to runway 33 at EDDH Hamburg Helmut Schmidt Airport in 3 minutes, covering less than 1 nm.
During the departure roll on runway 33, the aircraft accelerated over a takeoff distance of 1,282 m, representing 40 % of the runway, and lifted off at 153 kt; ambient temperature was 18 °C with a wind of 6 kt from 230°, a cross-wind component of 6 kt and a tail-wind component of 1 kt.
Climb commenced approximately 1 mile south-west of Langenhorn, Germany, with the flight ascending from 1,043 ft asl to 39,010 ft asl - a gain of 37,967 ft - in 25 minutes while covering 164 nm.
Level cruise began about 5 miles south of Abbekas, Sweden, and was maintained for 40 minutes, during which the aircraft travelled 287 nm.
Descent was initiated 42 miles north-west of Ventspils, Latvia, with the aircraft descending from 39,031 ft asl to 1,368 ft asl - a loss of 37,663 ft - in 29 minutes and covering 146 nm.
The final approach to runway 08 at EETN Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport involved a descent from 1,267 ft agl to 86 ft agl in 105 seconds, and the aircraft scored on the stabilisation gates.
Landing on runway 08 was executed with a threshold speed of 136 kt; touchdown occurred 93 m beyond the touchdown zone at 125 kt, with a smooth touchdown rate of -126 fpm and a lateral deviation of 6.5 m from the centreline. Local conditions were 12 °C, wind 16 kt from 140°, a cross-wind of 12 kt and a head-wind component of 10 kt. The total landing distance measured 1,915 m, equivalent to 59 % of the runway length.
Rollout proceeded with very good alignment, completing the deceleration phase within the remaining runway distance.
After landing, the aircraft taxied from the runway to the parking area in 5 minutes, traversing 2 nm.
In total, the flight covered 607 nm, taking 104 and consuming 4,375 kg of fuel.
The final approach to runway 08 at EETN Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport was stabilised at the 1,000 ft gate, with gear, flaps, sink rate, glideslope, centreline and speed all within limits. Descent progressed from 1,267 ft agl to 86 ft agl in 105 seconds, and the runway length is 3,222 m.
Threshold height was good and the threshold speed was good at 136 kt. The flare resulted in a touchdown point 93 m beyond the touchdown zone.
Touchdown speed was good at 125 kt and the touchdown rate was smooth at minus 126 fpm. The aircraft touched down slightly misaligned by 6.5 m from the centreline, and the total landing distance was 1,915 m, representing 59 % of the runway.
Runway rollout alignment was very good.
Refine lateral alignment to eliminate the 6.5 m centreline offset and aim for touchdown within the designated zone rather than 93 m beyond. Maintaining the current speed and flare technique will preserve the high overall score of 97.8 %.
