Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,386 m of the approach.
Plan view — the full 1,386 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 440 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a departure roll from runway 27 at Samos Airport (LGSM). The aircraft, a TBM 850, accelerated down the runway and lifted off at a speed of 98 knots. The takeoff distance was 586 meters, which is 30% of the runway length. The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 16°C, a wind speed of 1 knot from 270°, with no crosswind and a headwind of 1 knot.
As the aircraft climbed away from Samos Airport, it began its enroute climb, which started overhead the town of Chora in the North Aegean region of Greece. The aircraft climbed from an altitude of 396 feet above sea level to 2,991 feet above sea level, an increase of 2,595 feet in just 3 minutes, covering a distance of 16 nautical miles.
The enroute descent began 8 miles southwest of Marathokampos, another town in the North Aegean region. The aircraft descended from 2,991 feet above sea level to 1,325 feet above sea level, a decrease of 1,666 feet in 3 minutes, covering a distance of 8 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 33 at Ikaria Airport (LGIK) was made from the southeast, heading 332.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,251 feet above ground level. The landing on runway 33 was successful, with a touchdown distance of 439 meters, which is 42% of the runway length. However, the touchdown speed was a little fast at 69 knots, and the touchdown rate was fair at -247 feet per minute.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned from the centerline by 9.5 meters. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 15°C, a wind speed of 1 knot from 270°, with a crosswind of 1 knot and no headwind.
After landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area from the runway in less than 1 minute, covering a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 28 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 11 minutes. The aircraft used 35 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The TBM 850 aircraft successfully landed at LGIK Ikaria Airport, achieving a score of 94.7%. The final approach was conducted from the southeast, heading 332.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,251 feet above ground level (agl). The aircraft touched down on runway 33, which has a length of 1,386 meters.
The threshold height was satisfactory, but the threshold speed was slightly too high at 82 knots. However, the touchdown distance was good at 439 meters, indicating a smooth and controlled descent. The touchdown speed of 69 knots was a little fast, but the touchdown rate of -247 feet per minute (fpm) was fair, suggesting a relatively gentle impact.
The runway touchdown position was misaligned by 9.5 meters from the centerline, which may have been due to a slight deviation in the approach or landing technique. The local weather conditions were favorable, with a temperature of 15°C and a light wind of 1 knot from 270°. The crosswind component was minimal at 1 knot, and there was no headwind.
The total landing distance was 577 meters, which is approximately 42% of the runway length. This indicates that the aircraft was able to stop within a reasonable distance after touchdown. However, the runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 9.5 meters from the centerline, suggesting that the pilot may have applied the brakes or reversed the aircraft slightly off-center.
Overall, the landing was successful, but there were some minor deviations from optimal performance. The pilot's ability to maintain control and navigate the aircraft to a safe touchdown was demonstrated, but there is room for improvement in terms of speed and alignment during the landing phase.
