Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,555 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 581 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 4 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The aircraft, an Airbus A321, then departed from runway 03 at SKCC Camilo Daza International Airport. The takeoff distance was 967 meters, which was 50% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 138 knots, and the local weather conditions were characterized by a temperature of 31°C, with a wind speed of 4 knots at 180°.
As the aircraft climbed, it started its enroute climb 1 mile north of SKCC Camilo Daza International Airport, reaching an altitude of 27,960 feet above sea level. The climb was from an initial altitude of 2,023 feet, resulting in an increase of 25,937 feet in 17 minutes, covering a distance of 103 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise started 2 miles east of El Penon, lasting 7 minutes and covering 55 nautical miles.
The enroute descent began 9 miles south east of Cordoba, where the aircraft descended from 27,919 feet to 1,303 feet above sea level, a decrease of 26,616 feet in 17 minutes, covering a distance of 79 nautical miles. The final approach to runway 19 at SKCG Rafael Nuñez International Airport was made from the north, heading 183.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,283 feet above ground level.
The landing on runway 19 was successful, with a touchdown point 165 meters beyond the touchdown zone. The touchdown speed was 134 knots, which was good, and the touchdown rate was fair at -220 feet per minute. The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, and the local weather conditions were characterized by a temperature of 32°C, with a wind speed of 5 knots at 190°.
The total landing distance was 1,337 meters, which was 52% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was very good, and the taxiing to the parking from the runway took less than 1 minute, covering less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 243 nautical miles, taking 51 minutes, and the aircraft used 2,526 kilograms of fuel.
The Airbus A321 aircraft successfully landed at SKCG Rafael Nuñez International Airport, achieving a high score of 96.3%. The final approach to runway 19 was conducted from the north, with a heading of 183.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,283 feet above ground level (agl).
The aircraft touched down on the runway with a good threshold height, and the threshold speed was also satisfactory at 141 knots. The touchdown point was located 165 meters beyond the touchdown zone, which is a relatively minor deviation. The touchdown speed of 134 knots was within acceptable limits, indicating a smooth and controlled descent.
However, the touchdown rate of -220 feet per minute (fpm) was only fair, suggesting that the aircraft could have been brought down more gently. Nevertheless, the runway touchdown alignment was perfect, indicating that the aircraft was properly aligned with the runway during the landing.
The local weather conditions at the time of the landing were characterized by a temperature of 32°C and a wind speed of 5 knots from a direction of 190°. The crosswind component was minimal at 1 knot, while the headwind component was 5 knots, which helped to stabilize the aircraft during the landing.
The total landing distance of 1,337 meters was 52% of the runway length, which is a relatively short distance considering the aircraft's size and weight. The runway rollout alignment was very good, indicating that the aircraft was properly aligned with the runway during the rollout phase.
Overall, the landing was successful, and the aircraft was brought to a stop in a relatively short distance. However, there is room for improvement in terms of touchdown rate and touchdown point accuracy.
