MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 1,697 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 622 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight in the Boeing 737-800 began with a smooth taxi from the parking area to the runway, taking only 3 minutes to cover less than 1 nm. The departure from runway 22 at KROC Greater Rochester Intl was efficient, with a takeoff distance of 1,115 m, which was 58% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 150 kn, and despite local weather conditions including a temperature of 18 °C and a wind of 4 kn at 240 °, the aircraft managed a successful departure.
During the enroute climb, the aircraft started its ascent 1 mile southwest of KROC Greater Rochester Intl, climbing from 1,571 ft asl to 38,255 ft asl in 33 minutes. This climb covered a distance of 234 nm, demonstrating the aircraft's capabilities. The subsequent level cruise phase began overhead Uniondale and lasted 120 minutes, covering a distance of 1,112 nm smoothly.
As the flight progressed, the enroute descent began 50 miles north of Cockburn Town in the Turks and Caicos Islands. The descent from 37,857 ft asl to 1,801 ft asl took only 11 minutes, covering 52 nm efficiently. The landing on runway 12 at MBGT Jags Mccartney Intl was successful, with a touchdown speed of 137 kn and a smooth descent rate of -86 ft/m. Despite local weather conditions including a temperature of 31 °C and a wind of 7 kn at 131 °, the aircraft managed a safe landing, touching down 625 m from the threshold.
The total landing distance was 1,209 m, which was 71% of the runway length, showcasing the pilot's skill in landing the aircraft. After touchdown, the taxi to the parking area from the runway took less than 1 minute to cover less than 1 nm. The total flight distance was 1,409 nm, taking 173 minutes in total. The aircraft used 9,254 kg of fuel throughout the flight, highlighting its efficiency and performance capabilities.
