Avoid steep turns at low altitude
Below a thousand feet the aeroplane is slow, heavy and close to the ground. A steep turn loses lift, raises the stall speed and flattens the climb just when the gradient matters most. A normal turn on course is a rate one — fifteen degrees or so, twenty-five at the outside, this penalty is to acknowledge when a turn has stopped being a turn and become a manoeuvre.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 6,586 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 693 ft touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Congratulations on achieving a high landing score of 97.8%! Your performance during the Approach Phase was commendable, with the descent path slightly below the glideslope limit and the speed well below the target. It's important to be cautious not to stall in such situations, so make sure to maintain awareness and control during descent.
Moving on to the Landing Phase, you displayed excellent skills with a good threshold height and a flawless landing flare. These factors greatly contributed to the successful touchdown. In the Touchdown Phase, your touchdown rate was impressive, and your speed was on point. Additionally, landing within the touchdown zone and having a precise runway touchdown position demonstrate your precision and expertise.
Finally, during the Rollout Phase, your runway alignment was very good, further highlighting your ability to maintain control and stability throughout the landing process. Keep up the good work and continue to focus on maintaining these high standards in all phases of your landings. Your dedication to improvement and attention to detail will undoubtedly result in even higher scores in the future. Great job!
