A crosswind landing is a geometry problem. The air mass you're flying in is moving sideways across the runway, and you need your ground track down the centreline with your wheels aligned to it at the moment of contact. There are two techniques that will help, the crab and the sideslip.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with six checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,956 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,956 m of the 3,994 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 657 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 9 minutes and covered a distance of 1 nautical mile. The aircraft then departed from runway 06 at OENG Najran Domestic Airport, located in Najran, Saudi Arabia. The takeoff distance was 1,173 meters, which accounted for 38% of the runway. The aircraft lifted off at a speed of 133 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 29 degrees Celsius and winds of 10 knots at 209 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 5 knots and a tailwind of 9 knots. The aircraft then began its enroute climb, starting 2 miles northeast of OENG Najran Domestic Airport. The climb took 19 minutes and covered a distance of 77 nautical miles, during which the aircraft ascended from 4,940 feet above sea level to 46,509 feet above sea level, an increase of 41,569 feet.
Following the enroute climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which started 44 miles northeast of OYZM Al-Hazm Airport in Al-Hazm, Yemen. This phase lasted for 58 minutes and covered a distance of 408 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent, starting 20 miles northeast of Al Ghayzah in Al Mahrah, Yemen. The descent took 21 minutes and covered a distance of 122 nautical miles, during which the aircraft descended from 46,490 feet above sea level to 3,939 feet above sea level, a decrease of 42,551 feet.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise phase, which started 22 miles east of Salalah in Dhofar Governorate, Oman. This phase lasted for 5 minutes and covered a distance of 14 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its final descent, starting 8 miles east of OOSA Salalah Airport in Salalah, Oman. The descent took 2 minutes and covered a distance of 4 nautical miles, during which the aircraft descended from 2,666 feet above sea level to 1,364 feet above sea level, a decrease of 1,302 feet.
The final approach to runway 25 at OOSA Salalah Airport was made from the east, with the aircraft heading 251.0 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 1,279 feet above ground level. The landing was made on runway 25, which had a length of 3,994 meters. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was also satisfactory at 124 knots. However, the touchdown point was 235 meters beyond the touchdown zone, and the touchdown speed was a little fast at 112 knots. The touchdown rate was smooth at -117 feet per minute.
The runway touchdown position was misaligned by 12.3 meters from the centerline, and the runway rollout alignment was also misaligned by 18.4 meters from the centerline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 25 degrees Celsius and winds of 9 knots at 200 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 7 knots and a headwind of 6 knots. The total landing distance was 1,869 meters, which accounted for 47% of the runway.
The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took 11 minutes and covered a distance of 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 634 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 126 minutes. The aircraft used 1,756 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
Aircraft C750 successfully landed at OOSA Salalah Airport, achieving a score of 90.1%. The final approach was conducted from the east, heading 251.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,279 feet above ground level (agl). The aircraft touched down on runway 25, which has a length of 3,994 meters.
The threshold height was satisfactory, and the threshold speed was maintained at 124 knots, indicating a good approach. However, the touchdown point was 235 meters beyond the touchdown zone, suggesting that the aircraft could have been aligned better with the runway centerline. The touchdown speed of 112 knots was slightly faster than ideal, which may have contributed to the slightly off-center touchdown.
The touchdown rate was smooth at -117 feet per minute (fpm), indicating a controlled descent. However, the runway touchdown position was misaligned by 12.3 meters from the centerline, which may have been due to a slight deviation in the approach or during the final stages of landing.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were favorable, with a temperature of 25°C and wind speeds of 9 knots at 200°. The crosswind component was 7 knots, while the headwind component was 6 knots. The total landing distance was 1,869 meters, which is 47% of the runway length.
During the rollout, the aircraft's alignment was again misaligned by 18.4 meters from the centerline, indicating a slight deviation in the aircraft's direction after touchdown. Overall, while the landing was successful, there were some areas for improvement, particularly in terms of alignment and touchdown speed.
