Maintain the centreline
A small uncorrected heading error at 40 knots becomes a metre of offset per second by 100 knots, noticed only at rotation, producing a crabbed liftoff. Root cause is nearly always eyes on the tape instead of the far end of the runway. Small heading changes displace a distant point visibly long before the nearby centreline stripes look wrong.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,856 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,856 m of the 2,993 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 609 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 8 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The aircraft, a Cessna CJ4 Citation, then departed from runway 24 at WIHH Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport in Jakarta, Indonesia. The takeoff distance was 638 meters, which accounted for 23% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 117 knots, and the local weather conditions at the time of departure were a temperature of 31 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 5 knots at 340 degrees.
As the aircraft climbed away from the airport, it began its enroute climb, which started overhead WIHH Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport. The climb took 12 minutes and covered a distance of 56 nautical miles, during which the aircraft ascended from 1,122 feet above sea level to 32,297 feet above sea level, an increase of 31,175 feet. The enroute level cruise then began 7 miles south east of WIHK Kalijati Airport Purwakarta, and lasted for 25 minutes, covering a distance of 191 nautical miles.
The enroute descent started 6 miles north east of Purwodadi, and took 20 minutes to descend from 32,317 feet above sea level to 1,284 feet above sea level, a decrease of 31,032 feet. The descent covered a distance of 106 nautical miles. The final approach to runway 10 at WARR Juanda International Airport was made from the west, with a heading of 99.0 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 1,267 feet above ground level.
The landing on runway 10 at WARR Juanda International Airport was successful, with a touchdown point 177 meters beyond the touchdown zone. The touchdown speed was 83 knots, which was good, and the touchdown rate was excellent at -60 feet per minute. However, the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 3.9 meters from the centreline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were a temperature of 28 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 5 knots at 180 degrees.
The total landing distance was 1,760 meters, which accounted for 59% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was misaligned by 18.3 meters from the centreline. The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took 4 minutes and covered 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 361 nautical miles, and the flight took 69 minutes to complete. The aircraft used 790 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Cessna CJ4 Citation successfully landed at WARR Juanda International Airport, achieving a score of 90.0%. The aircraft approached the runway from the west, heading 99.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,267 feet above ground level (agl). The pilot executed a precise final approach, taking into account the local weather conditions, which included a temperature of 28°C and a gentle wind of 5 knots at 180°.
Upon landing, the aircraft touched down on runway 10, which has a length of 2,993 meters. The threshold height was satisfactory, and the threshold speed was slightly below the target speed of 97 knots. The touchdown point was 177 meters beyond the designated touchdown zone, which is a relatively minor deviation. The touchdown speed of 83 knots was within the acceptable range, and the touchdown rate of -60 feet per minute (fpm) was excellent, indicating a smooth and controlled descent.
However, there were some minor issues with the landing. The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 3.9 meters from the centerline, which may have been due to a slight deviation in the pilot's alignment during the final approach. Additionally, the runway rollout alignment was misaligned by 18.3 meters from the centerline, which may have been caused by the pilot's difficulty in maintaining a straight course during the rollout phase.
Despite these minor issues, the overall performance of the Cessna CJ4 Citation was satisfactory, and the pilot demonstrated good control and precision during the landing. The total landing distance of 1,760 meters was 59% of the runway length, which is a reasonable distance considering the aircraft's size and weight. Overall, the landing was successful, and the pilot's skills and experience were evident throughout the process.
