Shorten the long landing
Ground effect becomes significant below about one wingspan of height. A Cessna 172, with a 36 ft span, enters ground effect at flare height - the float it feels in the hold-off is ground effect arriving on cue. An A320, with a span around 117 ft, has been in ground effect since before the threshold and there is no sudden cushion to feel, only a gradual reduction in induced drag that lengthens any float you allow.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,923 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,923 m of the 2,708 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 936 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Overall, the landing had some areas of improvement but also some strong points to build upon.
What went well: The heading alignment and speed during the Approach Phase were both on target, which is a good foundation for a successful landing. Additionally, the Touchdown Phase saw the aircraft touchdown at the correct speed and with good runway alignment.
What didn't go so well: The Approach Phase had a poor descent path above the glideslope limit, and in the Landing Phase, the threshold height was extremely high and the landing flare was poor. The Touchdown Phase also had a very hard touchdown rate and a long landing distance.
Recommendations for this aircraft landing: To improve future landings, it would be beneficial to work on maintaining a proper descent path and improving flare technique. Additionally, focusing on reducing touchdown rates and distances, while maintaining speed and runway alignment, would help to make the rollout phase smoother. With continued practice and attention to these areas, overall landing performance can be enhanced.
