Improve the rollout
A crosswind landing is a geometry problem. The air mass you're flying in is moving sideways across the runway, and you need your ground track down the centreline with your wheels aligned to it at the moment of contact. There are two techniques that will help, the crab and the sideslip.

One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,305 m of the approach.
Plan view — the full 1,305 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 300 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 7 minutes and covered a distance of 2 nautical miles. The aircraft, a Cessna Longitude, then departed from runway 26L at Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The takeoff distance was 694 meters, which accounted for 23% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 128 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 7 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 5 knots from a direction of 300 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 3 knots and a headwind of 4 knots. The aircraft then began its enroute climb, which started overhead College Park, Georgia. The climb took 19 minutes and covered a distance of 108 nautical miles, with the aircraft ascending from an altitude of 2,047 feet above sea level to 44,376 feet above sea level, an increase of 42,329 feet.
Following the enroute climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which started 6 miles east of East Dublin, Georgia. This phase lasted for 32 minutes and covered a distance of 237 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent, which started 38 miles east of Ponce Inlet, Florida. The descent took 26 minutes and covered a distance of 144 nautical miles, with the aircraft descending from an altitude of 45,016 feet above sea level to 1,107 feet above sea level, a decrease of 43,909 feet.
The final approach to runway 27L at North Palm Beach Co Gen Avn was made from the east, with the aircraft heading 265.0 degrees at an altitude of 1,069 feet above ground level and a distance of 4 nautical miles from the runway. The landing was made on runway 27L, which had a length of 1,305 meters. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was also good at 116 knots. The touchdown distance was good at 301 meters, and the touchdown speed was 105 knots, which was also good.
However, the touchdown rate was fair at -220 feet per minute. The runway touchdown position was misaligned by 7.9 meters from the centreline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 16 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 6 knots from a direction of 350 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 6 knots and a headwind of 0 knots. The total landing distance was 892 meters, which accounted for 68% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 9.7 meters from the centreline.
The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took 3 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 497 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 89 minutes. The aircraft used 1,275 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Cessna Longitude successfully landed at F45 North Palm Beach Co Gen Avn, achieving a score of 96.3%. The aircraft approached the runway from the east, heading 265.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,069 feet above ground level (agl). The final approach was executed with good threshold height, indicating that the aircraft was at the correct altitude as it approached the runway.
Upon landing, the aircraft touched down on runway 27L with a speed of 116 knots, which was within the acceptable threshold speed. The touchdown distance of 301 meters was also within the acceptable range. However, the touchdown speed of 105 knots was slightly lower than the threshold speed, but still considered good. The touchdown rate of -220 feet per minute (fpm) was fair, indicating that the aircraft touched down with a moderate rate of descent.
Despite the good performance in terms of speed and distance, the aircraft experienced some issues with alignment during the landing. The runway touchdown position was misaligned by 7.9 meters from the centerline, and the runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 9.7 meters from the centerline. This suggests that the aircraft may have drifted off the centerline during the landing roll.
The local weather conditions at the time of the landing were relatively calm, with a temperature of 16°C and a wind speed of 6 knots from 350°. This resulted in a crosswind of 6 knots and a headwind of 0 knots. The total landing distance of 892 meters was 68% of the runway length, indicating that the aircraft had sufficient runway remaining for a safe stop.
Overall, the Cessna Longitude demonstrated good performance during the landing, but could benefit from improvement in terms of alignment and touchdown rate.
