Work on the flare
See Arrival Landing
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with six checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,202 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 437 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking area to the runway, which took 6 minutes and covered a distance of 2 nautical miles. The aircraft then departed from runway 07R at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, with a takeoff distance of 1,080 meters, which accounted for 46% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 133 knots.
As the aircraft took off, it encountered local weather conditions with a temperature of 19 degrees Celsius and winds of 5 knots at 130 degrees. The crosswind was 3 knots, while the headwind was 4 knots. After departing from the airport, the enroute climb started 1 mile east of the airport, where the aircraft climbed from an altitude of 2,132 feet above sea level to 28,323 feet above sea level, an increase of 26,191 feet in 10 minutes, covering a distance of 46 nautical miles.
Following the climb, the enroute level cruise started 7 miles south of AZ72 Police, lasting 11 minutes and covering a distance of 87 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent 8 miles southeast of AZ97 X Bar 1 Ranch Lower Airport, Kingman, Arizona, where it descended from 28,260 feet above sea level to 3,340 feet above sea level, a decrease of 24,921 feet in 18 minutes, covering a distance of 87 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 26L at Harry Reid International Airport was made from the east, heading 270 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 1,212 feet above ground level. The landing on runway 26L was successful, with a touchdown distance of 436 meters, which was good. However, the touchdown speed of 117 knots was a little fast, and the touchdown rate was firm at -368 feet per minute. The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 3.3 meters from the centerline.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were a temperature of 11 degrees Celsius and winds of 1 knot at 47 degrees, with a crosswind of 0 knots and a tailwind of 1 knot. The total landing distance was 1,105 meters, which accounted for 35% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was very good. After landing, the aircraft taxiing to the parking area took 2 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile.
The total flight distance was 228 nautical miles, taking 50 minutes, and the aircraft used 734 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
Aircraft C750 successfully landed on runway 26L at KLAS Harry Reid International Airport, achieving a score of 90.6%. The final approach was initiated from the east, heading 270.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,212 feet above ground level (agl).
The aircraft's performance during the landing was generally good, with the threshold height being well above the target, indicating a safe margin for the aircraft to touch down. The threshold speed was also satisfactory at 121 knots, which is within the acceptable range for a safe landing. However, the touchdown speed of 117 knots was slightly faster than desired, which may have resulted in a firmer touchdown rate.
The touchdown rate of -368 feet per minute (fpm) was firm, indicating a relatively steep descent rate. This may have been due to the slightly fast touchdown speed. The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 3.3 meters from the centerline, which may have been due to a slight deviation in the aircraft's approach path.
The local weather conditions at the time of the landing were relatively calm, with a temperature of 11°C and a wind speed of 1 knot from 47°. There was no significant crosswind or tailwind component, which made the landing conditions favorable.
The total landing distance of 1,105 meters was 35% of the runway length, which is within the acceptable range. The runway rollout alignment was very good, indicating that the aircraft was well under control during the rollout phase.
Overall, the landing performance of aircraft C750 was satisfactory, with some minor deviations from the ideal performance. However, the aircraft was able to safely touch down on the runway and come to a stop without any issues.
