Improve the taxi
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,646 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,646 m of the 4,190 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 470 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the Boeing 777-200ER taxiing from the parking area to the runway at Dubai International Airport, taking 7 minutes and covering a distance of 2 nautical miles. Departure roll took place on runway 30R, with a takeoff distance of 834 meters, which was 23% of the runway length. The aircraft lifted off at a speed of 149 knots.
As the aircraft took to the skies, it encountered local weather conditions of 35°C temperature and winds of 11 knots at 330°. The crosswind was 5 knots, while the headwind was 10 knots. The enroute climb started approximately 1 mile northwest of Dubai International Airport, where the aircraft ascended from 1,057 feet above sea level to 40,972 feet above sea level, an increase of 39,915 feet in 20 minutes, covering a distance of 133 nautical miles.
Following the initial climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which started 11 miles west of Bastak Airport in Iran. This phase lasted for 56 minutes, during which the aircraft covered a distance of 451 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its descent, which started 13 miles north of Emh Regional Medical Center Heliport in Iran. The descent from 40,682 feet above sea level to 10,293 feet above sea level, a decrease of 30,388 feet in 13 minutes, covered a distance of 56 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise phase, which started 14 miles southwest of Imam Khomeini International Airport in Tehran, Iran. This phase lasted for only 2 minutes, during which the aircraft covered a distance of 8 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its final descent, which started 8 miles south of Imam Khomeini International Airport. The descent from 10,310 feet above sea level to 4,537 feet above sea level, a decrease of 5,773 feet in 6 minutes, covered a distance of 9 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 29R at Imam Khomeini International Airport was made from the east, with a heading of 289.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,246 feet above ground level. The aircraft landed on the runway, which had a length of 4,190 meters. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was also satisfactory at 137 knots.
The touchdown point was 55 meters beyond the touchdown zone, and the touchdown speed was a little fast at 130 knots. The touchdown rate was fair at -224 feet per minute. The runway touchdown alignment was very good. Local weather conditions at the time of landing were 33°C temperature and winds of 8 knots at 59°. The crosswind was 6 knots, while the tailwind was 5 knots.
The total landing distance was 1,567 meters, which was 37% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was also very good. The aircraft then taxied to the parking area from the runway, taking 4 minutes and covering a distance of less than 1 nautical mile.
The total flight distance was 667 nautical miles, which was covered in 109 minutes. The aircraft used 10,512 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Boeing 777-200ER aircraft successfully landed at OIIE Imam Khomeini International Airport, achieving a high score of 99.5%. The final approach to runway 29R was conducted from the east, with a heading of 289.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,246 feet above ground level.
The aircraft touched down on the runway with a threshold speed of 137 knots, which was considered good. However, the touchdown speed of 130 knots was slightly faster than ideal. The touchdown point was located 55 meters beyond the designated touchdown zone, which may indicate a slight deviation from the intended landing path.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 33°C and a wind speed of 8 knots from a direction of 59°. This resulted in a crosswind of 6 knots and a tailwind of 5 knots, which may have affected the aircraft's landing performance. Despite these conditions, the aircraft's runway touchdown alignment was very good, indicating a high degree of control and precision during the landing.
The total landing distance of 1,567 meters was 37% of the runway length, which is a relatively short distance considering the aircraft's size and weight. The runway rollout alignment was also very good, indicating that the aircraft was able to maintain a stable and controlled descent during the landing roll.
Overall, the landing was considered successful, with the aircraft achieving a high score and demonstrating good control and precision during the final approach and landing phases.
