MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 4,020 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 631 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight in the Boeing 737-700 began with a 6-minute taxi from the parking area to the runway at LTBS Dalaman International Airport. The departure roll took place on runway 01 and the aircraft used 1,013 m of the runway (34% of the total length) before reaching a liftoff speed of 147 kn. The local weather at the time of departure was 15 °C with a 2 kn wind coming from 72 °, resulting in a 1 kn headwind and 2 kn crosswind.
Upon reaching the enroute climb phase, the aircraft ascended from 1,038 ft to 40,121 ft over 34 minutes, covering a distance of 241 nm. The level cruise phase began near Lythrodontas in Cyprus and lasted 149 minutes, covering 1,210 nm. The subsequent descent started east of OMAZ Zirku Airport in the United Arab Emirates, during which the aircraft descended from 40,204 ft to 2,806 ft over 16 minutes and 111 nm.
Following a brief 4-minute level cruise phase, the final approach was initiated to runway 01 at OMAL Al Ain International Airport from the south, with the touchdown occurring at a speed of 120 kn, slightly below the target speed of 126 kn. The touchdown point was 212 m beyond the designated zone, but the touchdown rate was good at -190 ft/m. The landing distance totaled 1,126 m, representing 28% of the runway length, and the rollout alignment was deemed very good. The aircraft then taxied to the parking area from the runway in just 1 minute.
Overall, the total flight distance covered was 1,582 nm over a duration of 209 minutes, requiring a fuel consumption of 8,206 kg. Throughout the flight, the Boeing 737-700 exhibited good performance during takeoff, climb, cruise, descent, and landing phases, with minor deviations in touchdown speed and point but overall successful execution of the flight plan.
