Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,312 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 465 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight in the Airbus A320 Neo from EDDH Hamburg to LIPZ Tessera covered a total distance of 559nm and lasted 120 minutes. The departure from Hamburg saw the aircraft take off from runway 05, with a takeoff distance of 956m and a liftoff speed of 147 kn. The local weather at departure was 15°C with a 13 kn wind at 60°, resulting in a 2 kn crosswind and a 13 kn headwind.
The enroute climb began overhead Fuhlsbuettel, climbing from 1,094 ft asl to 38,510 ft asl over a duration of 21 minutes and a distance of 127 nm. The enroute level cruise started overhead Molmerswende, lasting 44 minutes and covering a distance of 310 nm. The subsequent descent began overhead LIPB Bolzano Bolzano, descending from 38,472 ft asl to 7,115 ft asl over 20 minutes and 81 nm.
After a brief level cruise overhead Vescovana, the descent continued, decreasing from 6,911 ft asl to 3,527 ft asl during a 9-minute, 19 nm journey. The flight then briefly levelled off over Corte before beginning another short descent, dropping from 3,383 ft asl to 2,957 ft asl in 1 minute covering 3 nm.
The aircraft then entered another brief level cruise over Campagna Lupia before descending again, this time from 2,941 ft asl to 1,812 ft asl over 2 minutes and 4 nm. The landing took place on runway 04R at LIPZ Tessera, touching down 467m from the threshold at a speed of 125 kn with a VSI of -227 ft/m. The local weather at landing was 14°C with a 9 kn wind at 350°, resulting in a 7 kn crosswind and a 6 kn headwind. The total landing distance was 1,119m, 34% of the runway length.
The distance from the runway to parking was less than 1 nm, with a duration of 4 minutes. The flight used a total of 3,641 kg of fuel during the journey.
Great job on achieving a stellar aircraft landing score of 96.1%! Your performance in each phase of the landing process showcases your strong piloting skills and attention to detail.
During the Approach Phase, you demonstrated excellent glideslope alignment, which is crucial for setting up a safe and precise landing. Maintaining the correct descent angle is key to ensuring a smooth touchdown.
Moving on to the Landing Phase, you executed a good threshold height and a perfect landing flare. This shows that you have a good understanding of when to flare the aircraft to reduce the rate of descent and transition to the landing phase smoothly.
In the Touchdown Phase, your touchdown rate was fair and your speed was right on target. It's essential to have a balanced touchdown rate to ensure a safe and comfortable landing for both passengers and crew. Additionally, touching down 47 meters beyond the touchdown zone demonstrates your ability to make adjustments in real-time to ensure a safe landing.
Furthermore, landing just 4.5 meters from the centerline of the runway indicates your precision in aircraft control during the touchdown phase. Maintaining alignment with the runway centerline is crucial for a safe and efficient landing.
Lastly, during the Rollout Phase, your runway alignment was 11.4 meters from the centerline. While it's important to work on improving the alignment during this phase, your overall landing score shows that you have a strong foundation in aircraft control and landing procedures.
Overall, your excellent performance in the Approach, Landing, Touchdown, and Rollout Phases contributed to your impressive landing score of 96.1%. Keep up the great work and continue to refine your skills to achieve even higher scores in the future. Well done!
