MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
At the 1,000 ft gate: sink rate above what the glideslope needed.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,796 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,796 m of the 3,411 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 578 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
A Boeing 777-300 departed from London Heathrow Airport, taxiing from the parking area to the runway 27R took 12 minutes and covered 3 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its departure roll, taking off with a takeoff distance of 1,519 meters, which was 42% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 183 knots, and the aircraft climbed away from the airport into the local weather conditions, with a temperature of 12°C and a wind of 25 knots at 290 degrees.
As the aircraft climbed to cruising altitude, it passed over several points, including Harmondsworth in Greater London, England, and Alveringem in Flanders, Belgium. The enroute climb phase started over Harmondsworth, where the aircraft climbed from 1,153 feet above sea level to 30,030 feet in 19 minutes, covering 132 nautical miles. The aircraft then entered a level cruise phase, which lasted for 158 minutes and covered 1,282 nautical miles. This pattern of climb and cruise phases continued as the aircraft flew over various points, including Amasra in Bartin, Turkey, and Tyshkantamy in Qyzylorda Oblysy, Kazakhstan. The final level cruise phase started over UAON Yubileyniy Airfield Töretam in Baikonur, Kazakhstan, and lasted for 221 minutes, covering 1,867 nautical miles.
As the aircraft began its descent into Ninoy Aquino International Airport in the Philippines, it passed over several points, including Mangatarem in Ilocos, Philippines. The enroute descent phase started over Mangatarem, where the aircraft descended from 38,314 feet above sea level to 5,653 feet in 17 minutes, covering 105 nautical miles. The aircraft then entered a final approach phase, aligning with runway 06 and landing with a touchdown point 166 meters beyond the touchdown zone. The total landing distance was 1,719 meters, which was 50% of the runway length. The aircraft then taxied to the parking area, taking 3 minutes and covering less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 6,718 nautical miles, taking 839 minutes, and the aircraft used 111,522 kilograms of fuel.
The Boeing 777-300 touched down on runway 06 at RPLL Ninoy Aquino International Airport, showcasing a commendable approach quality. The aircraft descended from 1,252 feet above ground level (agl) at a distance of 4 nautical miles from the runway, aligning itself with the runway heading of 60.0°. The approach was conducted in a local wind environment of 10 knots at 70°, resulting in a 2-knot crosswind and a 10-knot headwind.
The aircraft touched down 166 meters beyond the touchdown zone, with a speed of 132 knots, which was within the acceptable range. The touchdown rate of -233 feet per minute was slightly below the optimal rate, but still considered fair. The runway touchdown alignment was very good, indicating a high degree of control and precision during the final stages of the approach. The threshold height at 56 feet agl was slightly above the target, but the threshold speed of 144 knots was good.
The total landing distance of 1,719 meters was 50% of the runway length, which is within the acceptable range. The runway rollout alignment was also very good, demonstrating a high level of control and precision during the rollout phase. Overall, the landing was considered to be of high quality, with a score of 94.7%. The combination of good approach quality, precise touchdown, and controlled rollout phases contributed to this high score.
