Flight Score
Know your rotation speed
A typical trainer rotates in the mid-50s of knots - a 172 at around 55 KIAS, climbing out at a Vy in the low 70s, though check your own POH rather than memorising Cessna's numbers - and the transferable rule is that Vr sits just above the stall speed in takeoff configuration. Rotate early because "it felt ready" and the aircraft lifts off inside ground effect, where induced drag is reduced, then climbs out of it into more drag. On a marginal-performance day the result is an aircraft that lifts off and then refuses to climb, sagging back towards the runway.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,245 m of the approach.
Plan view — the full 1,245 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 452 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Congratulations on your impressive aircraft landing score of 94.3%! Your performance during the various phases of the landing process was commendable, showcasing your skills as a pilot.
While the Approach Phase had a few areas that needed improvement, such as a poor descent path above the glideslope limit and speed being above target, the Landing Phase demonstrated strong execution with good threshold height and a very good landing flare. Your Touchdown Phase was particularly impressive, with a perfect touchdown rate, slightly elevated speed, and a touchdown distance inside the touchdown zone. Additionally, your runway touchdown position was very good, showing great precision in your landing.
It's worth noting that you were able to successfully handle a 13 kn crosswind, which can be challenging for many pilots. Well done on managing this aspect effectively.
In the Rollout Phase, the runway alignment was slightly off at 3.3 m from the centerline. This is an area where some improvement could be made, but overall, your performance was strong throughout the landing process.
Keep up the excellent work and continue to focus on refining your skills in all phases of the landing. Your dedication to improvement and attention to detail will surely continue to pay off in your future flights. Great job!
