Improve the taxi
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 7,014 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 1,534 ft touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 9 minutes and covered a distance of 1 nautical mile. The aircraft, a Boeing 737-800, then departed from runway 20C at KBNA Nashville International Airport. The takeoff distance was 4,155 feet, which accounted for 52% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 149 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 71°F and a wind speed of 9 knots from a direction of 192°. This resulted in a crosswind of 1 knot and a headwind of 9 knots. The aircraft then began its enroute climb, starting 1 mile south of KBNA Nashville International Airport and ascending from an altitude of 1,554 feet above sea level to 37,871 feet above sea level, an increase of 36,317 feet in 19 minutes and covering a distance of 131 nautical miles.
Following the initial climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise, starting 2 miles south of Colony, Alabama, and lasting 9 minutes, during which it covered a distance of 69 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent, starting 8 miles southwest of Maplesville, Alabama, and descending from 38,113 feet above sea level to 5,671 feet above sea level, a decrease of 32,442 feet in 18 minutes and covering a distance of 114 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise, starting 1 mile west of 50FL Odom's Flying Service Airport Jay, Florida, and lasting 11 minutes, during which it covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The aircraft then began its final descent, starting 1 mile west of 50FL Odom's Flying Service Airport Jay, Florida, and descending from 5,664 feet above sea level to 1,376 feet above sea level, a decrease of 4,288 feet in 6 minutes and covering a distance of 19 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 17 at KPNS Pensacola International Airport was made from the north, with the aircraft heading 167.0° at an altitude of 4 nautical miles and 1,249 feet above ground level. The landing was made on runway 17, which had a length of 7,014 feet. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was slightly above the target at 139 knots.
The touchdown point was 165 feet beyond the touchdown zone, and the touchdown speed was 132 knots, which was a little fast. However, the touchdown rate was good at -174 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown alignment was perfect. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 61°F and a wind speed of 4 knots from a direction of 190°, resulting in a crosswind of 1 knot and a headwind of 3 knots.
The total landing distance was 3,517 feet, which accounted for 50% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was also perfect. The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took 4 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 339 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 65 minutes, during which the aircraft used 6,127 pounds of fuel.
The Boeing 737-800 aircraft successfully landed at KPNS Pensacola International Airport, achieving a high score of 99.8%. The final approach to runway 17 was conducted from the north, with the aircraft heading 167.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,249 feet above ground level (agl).
Upon landing, the aircraft touched down on the runway, with the threshold height being satisfactory. However, the threshold speed was slightly above the target speed of 138 kt, registering at 139 kt. The touchdown point was located 165 feet beyond the designated touchdown zone, which is a relatively minor deviation. The touchdown speed of 132 kt was slightly faster than the ideal speed, but the touchdown rate of -174 feet per minute (fpm) was considered good.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were favorable, with a temperature of 61°F and a gentle wind of 4 kt from 190°. This resulted in a minimal crosswind of 1 kt and a headwind of 3 kt, which did not significantly impact the landing. The runway length of 7,014 feet was sufficient to accommodate the aircraft's landing distance, which was 3,517 feet, or 50% of the runway.
The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, indicating that the aircraft was properly aligned with the runway during the landing. Similarly, the runway rollout alignment was also perfect, demonstrating that the aircraft maintained its alignment with the runway after touchdown. Overall, the landing was considered successful, with the aircraft achieving a high score and demonstrating good control and alignment during the landing process.
