MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
At the 1,000 ft gate: off the runway's 3° glideslope.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,322 m of the approach.
Plan view — the full 1,322 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 94 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Departing from Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport, the PC-24 VIP aircraft began its journey by taxiing from the parking area to the runway, a process that took 129 minutes and covered a distance of 6 nautical miles. Upon reaching runway 36L, the aircraft initiated its departure roll, accelerating to a liftoff speed of 139 knots. The takeoff distance of 822 meters accounted for 24% of the runway length, with a local wind of 14 knots at 350 degrees contributing to a significant headwind component.
As the aircraft climbed to 12,195 feet above sea level, it began its enroute climb phase, increasing its altitude by 9,210 feet in just 5 minutes while covering 14 nautical miles. The climb was followed by a level cruise phase, which lasted 69 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The aircraft then initiated another climb phase, reaching an altitude of 19,093 feet above sea level in 5 minutes while covering 13 nautical miles. The subsequent level cruise phase lasted 2 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The aircraft continued its climb to 37,033 feet above sea level, an increase of 18,093 feet in 11 minutes, while covering 44 nautical miles. The final level cruise phase lasted 116 minutes and covered 514 nautical miles.
As the aircraft began its descent phase, it started from an altitude of 37,004 feet above sea level and descended to 5,051 feet above sea level in 25 minutes, covering 109 nautical miles. The final approach to runway 10 at Sankt Gallen Altenrhein Airport was initiated from the west, with a heading of 99.0 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 1,846 feet above ground level. The aircraft landed on the runway, with a touchdown distance of 93 meters and a touchdown speed of 101 knots. The total landing distance was 817 meters, accounting for 62% of the runway length. The aircraft then taxied to the parking area, a process that took 6 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 715 nautical miles, with a total flight time of 163 minutes and a fuel consumption of 851 kilograms.
The aircraft touched down on runway 10 at LSZR Sankt Gallen Altenrhein Airport with a threshold speed of 101 kt, slightly below the target. The touchdown distance of 93 m was satisfactory, and the touchdown speed of 101 kt was also within acceptable limits. However, the touchdown rate of -902 fpm was notably heavy, indicating a possible hard landing.
The approach quality was good, with a final approach to the runway from the west at 4 nm and 1,846 ft agl, heading 99.0°. The threshold height was good, and the aircraft landed on the runway with a centreline alignment that was slightly off by 5.8 m. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 5 °C and a wind of 7 kt at 290°, contributed to a crosswind of 1 kt and a tailwind of 7 kt.
The total landing distance of 817 m was 62% of the runway length, indicating a relatively short rollout. However, the runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 10.0 m from centreline. Overall, the landing performance scored 86.3%, reflecting a good but not exceptional performance.
