Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,040 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 484 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 14 minutes and covered a distance of 3 nautical miles. The aircraft, a Beechcraft Duke, then departed from runway 05 at LEMI Región de Murcia International Airport. The takeoff distance was 438 meters, which accounted for 15% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 95 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of takeoff were characterized by a temperature of 14 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 9 knots at a direction of 20 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 4 knots and a headwind of 8 knots. The aircraft then began its enroute climb, starting overhead LEMP Los Martínez Del Puerto Airfield Murcia. The climb took 2 minutes and covered a distance of 6 nautical miles, with an increase in altitude from 1,592 feet above sea level to 3,650 feet above sea level.
Following the enroute climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which lasted for 31 minutes and covered a distance of 94 nautical miles. This phase began 5 miles northeast of LEMP Los Martínez Del Puerto Airfield Murcia. The final approach to runway 07 at LEAM Almería Airport was made from the west, with a heading of 118.0 degrees at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,168 feet above ground level.
The landing on runway 07 at LEAM Almería Airport was successful, with a touchdown point located 47 meters beyond the touchdown zone. The touchdown speed was 80 knots, which was considered good, and the touchdown rate was perfect at -4 feet per minute. The runway touchdown alignment was also perfect. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 18 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 15 knots at a direction of 80 degrees, resulting in a crosswind of 2 knots and a headwind of 15 knots.
The total landing distance was 1,129 meters, which accounted for 37% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was also perfect. After landing, the aircraft took 8 minutes to taxi to the parking, covering a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 110 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 54 minutes. The aircraft used a total of -61 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Beechcraft Duke successfully landed at LEAM Almería Airport with a score of 99.6%. The aircraft approached the runway from the west, heading 118.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,168 feet above ground level (agl). The pilot executed a precise final approach, taking into account the local weather conditions.
The temperature at the time of landing was 18°C, with a wind speed of 15 knots blowing from 80°. This resulted in a crosswind of 2 knots and a headwind of 15 knots, which the pilot effectively managed during the landing. The aircraft touched down on runway 07, which has a length of 3,040 meters.
The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was also satisfactory at 92 knots. The touchdown point was 47 meters beyond the touchdown zone, but the touchdown speed of 80 knots was within the acceptable range. The most impressive aspect of the landing was the touchdown rate, which was perfect at -4 feet per minute (fpm). This indicates that the aircraft touched down smoothly and without any significant deceleration.
The runway touchdown alignment was also perfect, demonstrating the pilot's skill and control during the landing. The total landing distance was 1,129 meters, which is 37% of the runway length. This is a relatively short landing distance, indicating that the pilot was able to bring the aircraft to a stop quickly and efficiently.
Finally, the runway rollout alignment was perfect, showing that the pilot maintained control of the aircraft during the rollout phase. Overall, the Beechcraft Duke's landing at LEAM Almería Airport was a textbook example of a well-executed landing, with the pilot demonstrating exceptional skill and control throughout the entire process.
